Al Davison was born on May 12, 1981. Even though he grew up with most of the other guys of the band, no one really remembers him talking until freshmen year of high school. It
was then that Al broke out of his shell and became the big Al you all know and love. He currently goes to school at UW-Lacrosse majoring in economics.
He comes from a weird family with a couple of screwed up older sisters. His dad, Gary, is a world class pigeon racer, and his mother Ann Marie is super cool. On afternoon, Gavin and Rob Knight even walked in on them getting it on in Al's basement, aka the bachelor pad.
Al, along with Gavin, is one of the remaining charter members of the band. They started the band in '96 under the name Big Wet Spoon. Along the way the band has underwent some changes, and Al has played every position. He started out as lead vocalist, played bass for awhile, sang back-up vocals, played keyboard, drums and has even played a couple of chords on guitar. He has now settled in on bass guitar once again. He is also the designated band slut, and scores more than everyone else in the band combined.
Al's song writing style is, you could say, kinda of weird and eclectic, but it suits his own personality and brings another dimension to the group. Once he gets a hang on keys and scales we will see some very interesting songs from him.
