While sailing through the air en route to kicking
Ancestor, Tiger Wong warns Maggie to look out.
Meanwhile, Ancestor is questioning the sanity of anyone who
would provoke him and
suggests that perhaps Tiger would like to die. He causually
raises his arm and blocks the kick sending Tiger Wong flying
backwards as if he just got struck by a freight train. Still, he
manages to flip backwards and land gently on his feet.
Ancestor is surprised at his young opponents impressive inner
power.
Maggie steps forward and explains to Ancestor that
Tiger
Wong is her friend and asks him not to fight. She tells him that
Tiger was just playing around. Ancestor seems ready to
leave but Tiger won't let it drop. He wants to see the fight
continue. I must say, this is a really bad decision.
Ancestor doesn't appear to be taking Tiger Wong's
challenge too seriously but is more than willing to continue.
Tiger decides to try and intimidate his opponent. He increases
his inner power causing a crack in the ground that splits towards
Ancestor. To Tiger Wong's dismay, Ancestor is
able to stop the crack with his own powerful aura. Ancestor
offers Tiger a three round fight and so the fight begins.
TIGER WONG vs ANCESTOR
Tiger charges forward with a series of kicks but
Ancestor
effortlessly floats backwards avoiding any contact. Again,
Tiger
attacks but Ancestor kind of levitates right over Tiger,
yet again preventing any damage. Ancestor hovers about
ten feet above Tiger Wong. Tiger catches
Ancestor by surprise leaping way into the air and catching him
with a kick to the face which backs Ancestor away. As
Tiger and Ancestor face off against each other the
ground between them begins to crack and heave. Ancestor lunges
to attack but Tiger manages to leap into the air and deliver a
kick to Ancestor's back sending him face first to the ground.
Ancestor launches himself into the air and delivers a palm
shot the smashes Tiger down into the ground. Tiger
climbes back to his feet, raises his inner power and blows the shirt
off his body. Ancestor rushes forward with a palm shots,
Tiger returns with a kick to the ribs. Ancestor gives
Tiger a backhand to the chest but gets a kick to the face.
Tiger, however, is the one
thrown to the ground.
Tiger jumps back up and launches a kicking assault. He catches
Ancestor in the back of the knee, the chin and the side of the
head. Ancestor responds by driving Tiger backwards with
a vicious palm shot. Tiger Wong is sent flying head over heals
to the ground. Ancestor leaps into the air and drives into
Tiger Wong with a lethal palm.

Tiger Wong, driven backwards by Ancestor's brutal palm
shot, is sent smashing through some bamboo plants and dropped hard to
the ground. Standing triumphantly, Ancestor laughs and
claims victory over his broken opponent but his celebration is just a
bit premature. Tiger still has some fight left in him and slowly
gets back to his feet. The imprint of a palm is deeply etched into his
chest from where Ancestor struck him.
Ancestor is shocked that Tiger Wong is still alive much
less ready to continue fighting. Tiger charges again, prompting
Ancestor to raise his arm and unleash a tidal wave of lethal
wind. To avoid damage, Tiger does a forward flip over
Ancestor and performs a move called powerful dragon swings
his tail, which delivers a crushing heel to
the back. Despite the brilliant kick the disparity in power between
the two combatents is just too great. Ancestor's
protective air is unbroken and Tiger is sent flying
backwards. Ancestor compliments Tiger on his splendid
footwork and confesses the Tiger Wong is the first man ever to
get a solid kick on him. This battle is clearly not going the way
Tiger would like it. Maggie starts feeling rather
sympathic to the battering that Tiger Wong is taking and helps
him to his feet. She yells at Ancestor to stop before he kills
Tiger. Ancestor stutters and stammers out an apology
saying that he was finished anyway. Despite the fact that he posesses
nearly god like power when he's around Maggie Ancestor
tends to act like a real dumb ass. Tiger, bruised and sweating
badly, comments that Ancestor "is no ordinary old man". Good
observation Tiger. He then gives Ancestor an icy stare.
Now Ancestor has already been established as being a bit strange
and coming up is further proof. He begins ranting that Tiger
Wong is a fighter from his past. Then he decides that it's
impossible because the man he mistook Tiger for is already dead.
Ancestor in fact killed the man ten years ago??? Maggie
explains that Ancestor is suffering from some psychological
problems.
Guy comes running up to break up the fight. At this point
Ancestor just gazes off into the sky, lost in his own thoughts.
After a moment he comes back to reality and summons his sword.
Energy Soldier flies down near Ancestor, then, after
grabbing it up, he uses his Hovering Pace to
walk right off a cliff into the night sky.
Elsewhere, Silver Chime is cutting some flowers when her
brother, Barbarian, comes walking up. She's still angry and
upset that her brother hasn't accepted her feelings towards Gold
Dragon. Barbarian has had a change of heart though. He hugs
Silver Chime and gives her his earing as a sign of his approval.
Chime imagines begin married to Gold Dragon and having a
young boy.
Meanwhile, Sky Crane is kneeling before a statue of Buddha, deep
in prayer. Suddenly the neckless of beads he wears breaks and his hand
begins to shake. Seems to be some kind of monk alert to danger. He
rushes as fast as he can to the main temple his feet barely touching
the ground. In the center of the temple is a huge circular pedastal
with a life size statue of Buddha at it's top. A hole is carved out of
the top of the temple allowing light to shine down on the statue.
Sky Crane begins to pray before the statue when suddenly a drop
of blood falls from above and lands on his shoulder. More blood starts
falling from the hole in the ceiling followed by the bodies of three
monks.
Ancestor descends from above landing softly next to the statue.
Infuriated, Sky Crane quickly scales the side of the padestal to
defend his temple against Ancestor.
Next Issue: A major character dies, find out who.
Personal observations: I apologize to all the Tiger Wong
fans out there but the truth is he never stood a chance against
Ancestor. This is the first solid indication of just how
powerful Ancestor is. As was said in the comic, it's like a
man fighting a small child and this is a small child who once fought
impressively against Old Supreme himself.
