Maggie has caught The Supreme reading through one of Ancestor's secret training manuals and starts yelling at him for swipping it. She warns him that Ancestor will be returning soon and indeed moments later he begins to decend from the sky. There is a strong killing air eminating from Ancestor. Upon spotting The Supreme he shouts 'How dare you steal my precious book. The Supreme makes a ridiculous effort to deny it but the evidence is right in his hand. He gets backhanded to the ground but manages to protect himself from any real damage. Ancestor walks up and backhands The Supreme knocking him to the ground. He then gives him a few boots for good measure. Grabbing up the book, Maggie runs over to Ancestor and tries to ease the situation. Ancestor is still not finished with The Supreme. 'If you seek my precious book all you will find is death', he tells The Supreme. Despite Maggie's pleading and The Supreme's cowering Ancestor actually seems intent on ending his life. A strong killing air surrounds him. The Supreme makes a decision that he will not die without a fight and raises his fists to defend himself. Ancestor's inner power reaches a frightening level and then dips back down. He orders The Supreme to leave and never return, then turns to walk away. Maggie quietly thanks Ancestor and then scolds The Supreme for not thanking him. He enthusiastically shows his appreciation for Ancestor's mercy but without even turning Ancestor reply's 'Don't thank me, thank Maggie!'.

Once Ancestor has left The Supreme tries to get Maggie to remember anything she might have seen in the book. The Supreme wants her to try and gather any information she can from Ancestor's book and present it in a week. Apparently this is just too much so Maggie tells The Supreme to leave. She walks away crying while The Supreme begs her not to go. It looks as if the relationship between The Supreme and Maggie is officially over.

Elsewhere, Gold Dragon and Tiger Wong are hanging out with the monks they met. The monk who was sitting in the funeral pyre is sitting on a circular stone slab while the monks sit around it. Suddenly the wind starts whipping up and a large, powerful looking monk comes walking into the area. Above him swirling in the wind is a large group of birds. The monk grabs ahold of a feather that falls and flicks it at Gold Dragon. The feather is flung with such force that it knocks a knife out of Gold Dragon's hand. Gold Dragon looks to be preparing for a fight but he's knocked to the ground by this monks powerful inner strength.

The issue opens with Barbarian and Summer Blossom having a converstation. (Summer Blossom is the woman who saved Barbarians life back in issue 725). She is asking to travel along with him for the rest of her life. At first Barbarian is shocked but then he begins laughing thinking that she's joking around. Well, apparently she wasn't joking and she lays into Barbarian for not taking her seriously. She explains that both her parents are dead and this is her destiny. Barbarian tells her that his life is very dangerous. 'I know, replies Summer, but I'm not afraid. She then tells Barbarian that she is in love with him and she knows that he will always love and protect her. 'You're wrong.', answers back Barbarian. He tells her about how he was in charge of protecting his little sister Silver Chime but failed. Summer once again says that she trusts in Barbarian and feels that it was fate that brought them together. Barbarian pulls her close and the two kiss under the moonlight.

Meanwhile, The Supreme is practicing with his knife. He tosses it into the air, sending it flying around killing birds. He sends it sailing into a tree shattering the tree and knocking it to the ground. He pounds the ground and starts laughing and crying like a maniac. The Supreme lunges forward, grabs the knife and sends it ripping through the forest. Picking the knife up again he stabs himself in the forearm. The Supreme begins yelling out some angry vows agains Maggie, and Ancestor. Apparently he's not taking the breakup with Maggie very well.

Later, The Supreme is having a meal in a small tavern when Gold Dragon, Tiger Wong, Ling Jao and the other monk enter. The Supreme spots them out of the corner of his eye and tosses a jug of water at Tiger. Tiger catches the jug and, exerting some inner power, shatters it. The Supreme and Tiger do some angry glaring until The Supreme picks up a chopstick and flings it out a window. Using his new skill he controls the chopstick sending it sweeping around back towards out heroes. Gold Dragon block the projectile with his wrist and then an all out fight erupts. The Supreme blocks Dragon's nanchuka but takes a kick from Tiger. He leaps up through the roof of the building followed immediately by Tiger and Dragon. The Supreme flings his knife but Tiger manages to kick it away. The knife turns 180 degrees flying back towards our heroes, forcing them to leap out of the way. Again the knife flies towards Tiger Wong but suddenly stops in midair. It's Ling Jao fighting back with his own considerable inner power. Concentrating, he manages to shatter the knife. At first The Supreme is shocked but then he begins smiling as he informs them that he will lead them to Ancestor.
