Using old tyres as a vertical composter

Used tyres are stacked up inside a frame to form a "composter" that will take garden waste and vegetable kitchen waste. Note the minimal use of ground space, reuse of tyres and the real mulch heaped at the base. A couple of tyres stacked in this manner will also serve as a 'pot' to grow plants.

They may not be perfect, but such models serve as a base for innovation and sustainable use of waste that is hard-to-dispose.
