VISA SERVICES
Visas are required by South African passport holders to visit India. The Consulate General of India, Durban issues visas for South African nationals residing in KwaZulu Natal, Free State and Eastern Cape. The South Africans residing in other areas may also apply for a Visa for India at the Consulate General of India, Durban but in that case more than normal time may be required for the issuance of Visa to them.

Types of Visas

(i) A valid passport. (with sufficient validity to cover the stay in India) (ii) One application form and one photograph (iii) Confirmed to and fro air tickets from India. |
Transit Visa |
(i) A valid passport. (ii) One application form and one photograph |
Student Visa |
(i) A valid passport with sufficient validity to cover the stay in India (ii) Proof of admission to a Government of India recognised education institution in India. (iii) Satisfactory evidence of financial support from their parents/guardians accompanied by bank guarantee. |
