	FILM FESTIVAL NEWS (updated 11 May 2004) Shut Up and Kiss Me screens at the Cannes Film Festival at 11:30 am May 13^th and 2:00 pm May 14^th. See the American World Pictures (presumably SUaKM's distributor) website for additional information. SUaKM was one of 11 feature film winners at this year's Key West Indie Fest. The festival kicks off May 20^th. SUaKM was selected for the Palm Beach and Newport Beach film festivals. Screening dates and times are: Palm Beach International Film Festival 7:00 pm Friday, April 16 9:45 pm Tuesday, April 20 2:00 pm Thursday, April 22 Newport Beach Film Festival 7:30 pm Sunday, April 18 1:00 pm Wednesday, April 21 The film debuted at the Washington DC Independent Film Festival on March 5^th at 9:30 PM.

Synopsis

Ryan and Pete are 27-year old best friends in Miami, born on the same day and each searching for the perfect woman. Ryan (Christopher Barnes "The Brady Bunch Movie") is a rookie stockbroker living with his psychic Mom (Victoria Jackson "Saturday Night Live"). Pete (Brad Rowe "Billy's Hollywood Screen Kiss") is a slick surfer dude yet to find commitment. Each meets the women of their dreams on the same day. Ryan knocks heads in an elevator with the gorgeous Jessica (Kristin Richardson), passing out before getting her number. Pete falls for the insatiable Tiara (Krista Allen "Anger Management"), but Tiara's Uncle is mob boss Vincent Bublione (Burt Young "Rocky", "Mickey Blue Eyes"), charged with her protection. This high-energy romantic comedy asks to what extent will you go for true love?
