Matthew "Shmouk" Vitale
(Guitar / Vocals)

   Shmouk has been playing Guitar for IndoSurf since the beginning of time.  He's currently 17 years old and a Visalia rezz (born and raised).  He's been playing since the good old middle school days, and he's getting better everyday.
   Started off playing with this one dude named Norton, Lord knows that didn't work. His major influences come from the late Bradley Nowell of Sublime.  His major reggae influence came from Nowell. More or less the alternist of the group, he enjoys punk/emo bands such as NOFX, Homegrown, MXPX and others.
   He listens to The Ziggens and LBDAS as well, and other various skunk and punk bands. Shmouk has vastly improved on the guitar, creating his own style and sound, helping blend the overall sound created by the band.
