THE NORTH WEST Part 2
MULLAGHMORE
With a SW wind and a big NW swell, clean lines push into the bay. It can also be worth a drive around Mullaghmore Head.
Reputedly a lefthander breaks over shallow rocks that can hold a 20ft swell
!
BUNDORAN
One of Ireland's most surfed waves, a low tide break at its best in the 4-6ft range. The peak gives a short and snappy right with a longer left peeling and tubing its way across the rocks on the northern side of the bay. When it's big, another more sheltered left starts to work.

SOME GOOD LINKS
TULLAN  STRAND
A nice spot, considered to be some of the best and most consistent beach waves in Ireland. The southern end has the best shaped peaks. If it's flat along the rest of the coast, then there can still be a wave here. Take the frist left north of Bundoran (it isn't signposted). You will come to an area for parking above the beach
ROSSNOWLAGH
Home to Ireland's biggest surf club, housed in the 'surfers bar'. Here, aloneg with Irish surfers and a pint of Guinness you can find surf memerobilla built up since the sixties. The waves can be good but will be smaller and less powerfull than those at Tullen.
