Ogami's Half-Baked Stories

These stories were written only as breaks from others, and while they have their moments, I don't consider them as good as my full stories. Note how these stories have a tan background to set them apart from my "real" stories, which have a faint pink background.

The Hoax: This story was written at the end of Xena's 3rd season as a break from The Trial of Xena. It's a cute little piece, but really doesn't go anywhere. Just some fun with the 3rd season's cliffhanger.

The Tasting: This was written in response to a post on the Xena NetForum, roughly at the same time as The Hoax. A person calling herself Nightsbane posted a tiny piece, which ended with Xena wanting to put a blindfold on Gabrielle. She was asking people for ideas to finish it, so I gave it a shot. The opening with the fish dinner is mine, and so is what happens after Xena produces a blindfold. The middle is hers. A tasty treat!

Xena Snaps: This was written during Xena's 4th season, as a break from writing Book One of my Trilogy. I had just watched two weeks of lousy episodes, (In Sickness and in Health, A Tale of Two Muses), and was not in a good mood. I stopped writing at the part where Joxer appears, and shelved it. Some months later, as I was finishing up Book Three, I finished the story, and gave it a very nice ending. I consider this story rather more "baked" than the other two, as it has a perfect setup, and a concise conclusion. When a friend of mine said this story looked like a bunch of my standard complaints on the 3rd season, I took his exact quote and included it at the start!

Hide the Soap: My shortest story, I simply take the famous hottub scene from A Day in the Life and replace Xena and Gabrielle with Hercules and Iolaus. My point should be self-evident; would you take a bath with your platonic friend like this?
