Dark Elves are one of the best armies when it comes to troops, not only to they get frenzied troops and high strength, but they also don't cost that much in points, and they get the dreaded Repeater Bolt Thrower, and the monstorous Cauldron of Blood.

The easy way to use Dark Elves is to achieve a balance of troops that you take. First you select the troops you have to take, then you take the troops you want to take, then you use them in a frenzy of blood and pain. Dark Elves get a great selection of troops and war machines, so the chioces are endless.

Here are some tips on using Dark Elves:

• Use the Dark Riders' free march move to get you close to the enemy on turn one, and then attack them with massed repeating crossbow fire.
• Use Scouts and Dark Riders to hold the enemy up until you can get your tougher troops in.
• Mount Sorcerers and Witch Elf Heroes on Dark steeds, and watch the instant killing frenzy when you get to your opponent's troops!
• Corsairs and Witch Elves are both good hand-to-hand troops but need protection, so buy anything to stop missile fire at all costs. They will make up for it in hand-to-hand.
• Try buying lots of Dark Pegasi to fly into the enemy's missile troops to hold them up for your troops to arrive.
• Give your general the Destroyer and watch what happens when you fight challenges!
• Try hiding assassins in Witch Elf and Corsair units and watch your enemy get really annoyed.
• City Guard are excellent in defense, so dont try charging them in.
• Executioners will waste monsters, but they need a lot of protection or they will die.
