The first step in learning more about career opportunities in the Navy, or any branch of the military, is to contact your local recruiter.  You can find the number of your local Navy Recruiters office by visiting the Navy Homepage. 

I contacted the recruiters office and spoke with Lt. Gilchrist.   He told me that there were basically three officer programs I could apply for.   Those being Surface Warefare Officer, Naval Flight Officer or Supply Corps Officer.
