Why
Join Siggraph?
ACM SIGGRAPH is a non-profit, volunteer
organization providing world-wide and year-round programs for the
computer graphics community. Our programs attempt to serve the various
parts of this community, and reach out to other communities, to
benefit all of us by promoting contact and information exchange.
This will allow you to network with people that have the same interests
that you do, while looking good on your resume and portfolio.
What
do we do?
Locally, as a member of the Purdue University Calumet Student Chapter,
you can help plan and take part in upcoming events and activities.
During the year we like to have various businesses in the graphics
industry come and present their company.
How do I join?
There are two easy ways to join the PUC chapter of Siggraph
1) Speak with Jana Whittington and fill out application to send
out.
2) Click here
to fill out online application.
How much does
it cost to join?

ACM SIGGRAPH Membership for current full-time students $20
ACM SIGGRAPH Membership for current members of the Eurographics
Association $20
What
is the Siggraph Conference?
The annual conference is the world's largest event that is devoted
to computer graphics and interactive techniques. An Annual art show,
videos, films, and a high-quality technical program of courses,
panels, and papers are just a few of the exciting features. This
is a great place to learn what you can expect to be doing down the
path of technology and graphics. Also, this is a great spot to get
that resume and portfolio out so you can begin networking.
When
and where is the next conference?
The next conference is going to be held from July 31st to August
4th in the Los Angeles Convention Center in Los Angeles, California
U.S.A.
What
type of work can be submitted?
