August 3rd marked one year since Colin became an angel. We had a birthday party for Evan on that day and wanted to include a celebration of life for Colin on his angel day. We did this by releasing butterflies in his memory. It was a beautiful way to remember him and his short life with us. We were overwhelmed by the love and warmth we felt from our family and friends. We want to thank everyone that participated and send a special thank you for all the gifts in Colin's memory. You don't know how much that meant to us. It was truly touching that he was remembered in so many ways.
Below are some of the pictures from the butterfly release. We also had the children release balloons in memory of Colin. The whole ceremony was so touching and now we look at butterflies and we see so much more than we used to.
