Review 2

'Glasgow/Cathouse' -Saturday 31st August.

InMe were lined up to play at the Glasgow Cathouse for about 6.30pm but due to the lack of intelligence from the staff of the Cathouse they started about 8.30pm. Outside my friend Ian and I waited at 5pm in the cue to get in, we were one of the few with tickets. The security guards turned anyone away who didn’t look grungy enough. When we got in we had to wait in the club for about half an hour, we listened to a few Korn songs then went downstairs. I was standing near the right speaker at the front so I could see everything that was going on. We listened to some Offspring, Reel Big Fish and a few songs off the Tony Hawks soundtrack and before we knew it, the time was about half 8. A guy shouted in my ear ‘look over there!!’ so I turned around to see Dave, Joe and Simon walking around to the stage. When they came onto the stage the crowd screamed with anticipation as you could feel the floor shaking.

Dave came up to his mic and started to play Crushed Like Fruit so we started bouncing and screaming the lyrics along with Dave. He pushed his voice past the limits much to the overall satisfaction of the crowd. As he finished we said ‘So How’s Everyone In Scotland Today?’ The crowd screamed once again.

After a few songs he started Underdose and the crowd went wild, it was absolutely crazy. Joe and Dave were jumping up and down around the stage with Dave singing his heart out, he even let us sing out some of the lyrics, you could see how happy he was that we all knew the words. Joe climbed on top of the higher part of the stage and leaped off it.

During Firefly, Joe also got everyone to show the devil horns which was great because he wanted the crowd to take part in every song. Dave’s voice went melodically to every single second of each song, he proved that InMe are a definite force to be reckoned with.

At the end of the gig they said ‘Thank you very much Glasgow, we will be back soon!’ I went out to the shop where they were selling the concert t-shirts with all the dates on the back for £12! Such a brilliant price too.

InMe definitely will be BIG, and I mean BIG.
