Course Notes
Branson Creek Golf Club
|
This Tom Fazio course now has the first 9 holes open for play. The course should prove to be one of the top courses in the area. With rolling hills throughout the zoysia fairways, the course has many bunkers and great bentgrass greens. It will be a must play course in the Branson area. |
Holiday Hills Golf Resort |
Originally built in 1938, this course was rebuilt from tee to green and reopened in 1997. The new course is "user friendly" with flat to rolling terrain, featuring a variety of holes to challenge the low and high handicapper alike. The fairways are wide and open. The greens are large with undulations. |
Ledgestone Country Club at Stonebridge Village |
Featuring outstanding new Tom Clark design, this course opened in 1995 deep in the heart of the southwest Missouri Ozarks. Spectacular scenery accentuates the hilly terrain and dense forests that border virtually all of the narrow zoysia fairways. Water can be found on 10 holes and sand is around every one of the medium sized undulating greens. |
Pointe Royale Country Club |
Although a short layout, the rolling hills, narrow tree-lined bermuda fairways, water on nine holes and bunkers on every hole make it a real challenge for all players. A number of country music stars live near the course. |
Thousand Hills Golf Resort |
Located in the heart of Branson and recipient of a 3 1/2 star rating from Golf Digest, this superbly designed 18 hole resort course features USGA bentgrass greens with zoysia fairways and tees. Set on hilly terrain with lakes and creeks coming into play on 16 holes. Add sand on every hole and mature trees on numerous holes, and the challenge is sufficient for all golfers. |
Top of the Rock Golf Club |
Top of the Rock is a nine hole Jack Nicklaus designed resort par three, owned by Big Cedar Lodge which is located three miles away. The course is a member of the Audubon Signature Cooperative Sanctuary Program. It has breathtaking views of Table Rock Lake and also, in keeping with the natural beauty of the area, they have retained native plants, which, in turn, allow our native bird and mammal population to thrive. |
