By the time Daniel and Teal'c reached the spring, Jack was already frolicking in the water.

"She was right, it's gorgeous in here.." he called to the two men on shore. Daniel nervously looked at Teal'c as he undressed, keeping his back to Jack.

"Are you ready Daniel?" Teal'c asked in a whisper as he saw his friend finish undressing. Daniel sucked in a deep breath then nodded, but gripped Teal'c before he turned around.

"This is not going to work.." he shook his head. Teal'c patted his arm.

"You must pretend you do not know, for O'Neill's sake.." Teal'c suggested. Daniel's blue eyes looked pleadingly at him so Teal'c tilted his head. "Or else, act upon the knowledge.." he advised quietly. Daniel gave a little mummer then shook his head.

"Jack hasn't told me.. because he's not ready to. And I know that if I start coming onto him, he's going to know I know and then, you know, he's going to run..."

Teal'c frowned, a little lost in Daniel's hurried words, but he patted his nervous friend and nodded, "I know."

Daniel smiled then nodded at his own silliness. "Okay, let's go.." he said, letting Teal'c head in first and going behind him, making sure he couldn't see Jack at all until he was waist deep in the water.

Jack was a little disappointed that Daniel was masked by Teal'c until he got into the water, but he figured that the guy was shy. He'd dreaded this a little, knowing that Daniel felt like he did, but that the guy wasn't ready to act on it. Jack was just going to have to pretend he didn't know.

"Oh.. God.." Daniel sighed as he dived under the water then came back out, head back, throat arched, the water running off his long hair.

//Oh Gods.. is right!// Jack sighed to himself as he watched Daniel stand again, the water rolling off the younger man's tanned body.

Teal'c lifted the Goa'uld out of the pouch and handed it to Daniel. Jack cringed as he watched Daniel hold the infant for Teal'c while the Jaffa immersed himself completely under the water. Standing up again, the water streamed off Teal'c's dark skin in little rivers. The Jaffa held his hand out again and replaced the infant into the sac, ensuring he stood in a level of water that didn't encroach on the sac.

Daniel smiled at Jack as he saw the Colonel's face screw up as he swam over to where the two men were.

"He can't get it too wet..." Daniel explained and Jack nodded then waved his hand, as if to stop Daniel.

"It's okay. I don't need to know.." he sighed and flung himself backwards into the water. Daniel screwed his eyes shut as he saw a peak of Jack's pubic region before it disappeared under the water. Biting his lips together he looked at Teal'c who had also seen it. Teal'c lifted one brow and Daniel sighed shakily, a weak smile appeared on his face.

Jack jumped up out of the water and pushed his hands through his hair, rubbing the water off his face as well. Daniel squatted a little in the water then shook his head, pushing off to go for a bit of a swim. Teal'c watched his friend closely.

"So, junior doesn't like baths? Huh? Typical..." Jack smiled at the Jaffa, a short distance away from him. Teal'c looked at Jack.

"It upsets his equilibrium if he is fully immersed. I can shower with him, of course.."

"Of course.." Jack recalled many showers with Teal'c.. and... Daniel. He looked across the far side of the spring.

"Danny okay?" he asked. Teal'c looked over at him.

"I would not know," he said in a deep voice. Jack nodded.

"Perhaps I should go over and check?" Jack seemed to be asking his advice. Teal'c gave a nod.

"That would be best," he said then added, "To ask him."

Jack gave a sharp nod then dove under the water and swam over to Daniel.

Daniel was leaning back, his arms hooked over a row of boulders that lined the deep end of the pool. He was kicking his feet idly when he felt something grab his ankle and without warning, pull him under the water.

Fighting frantically, Daniel finally felt his wrists get grabbed and opened his eyes under the water. He was looking at the smiling face of Jack, albeit with his breath firmly held.

Jack watched as Daniel's long hair swayed and shimmered in the water, his blue eyes like shining crystals in the clear spring. Daniel finally returned the smile and then both men made their way up to the surface, gasping for air when they reached the top.

"You scared the crap out of me, Jack.." Daniel said breathlessly.

Jack was laughing, "Sorry, I couldn't resist.. you looked so peaceful.." he wiped his hand down his face. Teal'c called over to them.

"What?" Jack frowned. Teal'c indicated to the shore to Daniel. Daniel returned the crude sign language then looked at Jack.

"He's going ashore. The Infant Goa'uld doesn't like water..."

"No, apparently not. You two swim together a lot then?"

Daniel blinked. "Sorry?"

"He handed you Junior and you took it.. .like it was something you've done before.." Jack said, hooking his arm over the boulder, his feet kicking slowly in the water.

"Oh.. we.. have a few swims.. on base..." Daniel shrugged. Jack nodded then shrugged, hoping he didn't seem too interested.

"Ah.. thought as much.." he smiled.

Daniel nodded then looked around, trying to avoid the sight of the wet Colonel.

*****

The afternoon was spent idly. Jack was sitting watching Daniel conversing with the Chief and village Elders on the other side of the circle of logs that surrounding the large bomb fire. Jack figured this place equated to the kitchen of a home on earth. It was the central meeting place. The place people came to chat and drink and relax. There were several small groups gathered along the large circle, all chatting animatedly together while children ran in between and around them. Villagers would come in and spoon a cup full of warm liquid from one of the many pots that were heated by the fire then they would disappear back into the huts or return to the clump on the logs.

Jack looked back at Daniel; the young anthropologist was in his element, his face shone as he smiled, his long dark hair fluttered around his face with the gentle breeze and it shone in the warm bright sun. He was, as always, oblivious to Jacks scrutiny. The older man smiled to himself as he looked down into his cup of drink then lifted it to his lips as he tilted his head back. Briefly Daniel looked over at Jack and their eyes met. Jack lowered the cup slowly then looked away, like he had actually something else to look at. By the time he looked over again, Daniel was engrossed in his conversation once more. Jack hoped that Teal'c and Sam weren't going to be much longer.

They had set off, about an hour earlier, with two women of the Village who were going fruit picking. Sam had hoped to find out about the native vegetation on the world, not because she was interested in the botany, but she was interested how a world, without much rain, could grow fruit to sustain a village. It was something that she felt might be useful to know on earth, where so many arid areas were uninhabitable due to the lack of water. Considering this village seemed to survive solely on this fruit, with some wild animal thrown in to mark special occasions - like their arrival - she was hoping that they might be able to cultivate a society that survived on the fruits instead of starving to death.

Teal'c stepped up beside her as she studied a leaf of one of the fruit trees.

"How do you think this will benefit our earth?" he asked, casting his dark eyes over the blue-green leaf in her small hand.

Sam gave a slightly excited sigh as she said, "a lot of earth is covered in arid regions. Within these regions there are some villages that are starving to death because there isn't enough food, not enough rain to sustain any crops.. that sort of thing," she looked up at him as he titled his head to look at her.

"You are hoping that by gaining information here, you will be able to solve earth's starvation problems?" he frowned slightly. She gave a small laugh and shook her head.

"Unfortunately, it wouldn't be that simple.." she waved her finger at him, "I'm not looking at feeding the world with this solution or solving earth's starvation problems," she gave a little shrug as she stared intently at a leaf before her, "but it might help to sustain *some* people in *some* places.

He gave a slight nod. "According to Daniel Jackson, there is little to no rain fall on this world," Teal'c reached out and caught a leaf between his large fingers, thumbing it lightly to feel the veins on the back of the leaf as he listened to Sam.

"That's right. They didn't even seem to understand what rain was. So, that got me thinking that we might be able to alter the fruit from this world, given that we do get rain.. and it might survive the drought seasons, thereby feeding people during the dry times."

Teal'c smiled slightly at her and she returned it. "It *might* work," she shrugged. He gave a nod.

"Indeed, it might Samantha.."

Gods! She loved it when he called her by her full name!

Her mouth moved but no worlds came out as she stared up into his dark eyes. "So, now all I need to do is to get hold of some of this fruit.." she looked over the strange purple fruit on the tree beside them.

"What about this one?" Teal'c pointed to an odd shaped large blue fruit. Sam stepped next to him and frowned.

"I suppose.." she shrugged. One of the villagers came over to them. Sam pointed to the fruit and the woman smiled and nodded. Sam picked the fruit and sniffed at it before taking a bite. The villager urged Teal'c to also take a bite, so Sam offered it to him. He raised his brow but nibbled a small bite from the other side of the fruit. The woman nodded then clapped her hands as she ran off. Sam frowned then shrugged as she looked back at Teal'c.

"What was that all about?"

"I do not know, but that fruit is most delicious," he said, looking down at it in Sam's hands.

"It is, isn't it?" she agreed and took another bite, offering it to him again. This time he took a larger bite and they both ended up smiling at each other.

Jack lept to his feet as they returned from the long walk.

"I was beginning to wonder what happened to you two," he said looking at the bags full of fruit that Teal'c was carrying.

"There was a lot of fruit to gather for the feast tonight, O'Neill," he said, passing the bags over to two male villagers. Jack nodded.

"Did you find out anything?" he asked Sam. She nodded.

"Quite a bit actually," she indicated for him to sit down while she discussed her theory with him.

Later in the evening, after they feasted on a wild Bore like creature, they separated and began talking, as best they could, with people of the village. Some had a little knowledge of English, but many were uneducated so were never taught any of the 103 languages that their Chief knew.

Sam watched as the women of the village took a piece of purple fruit and sucked on it heartily. She tilted her head as she watched them talking and giggling together.

"Missing your friends at home?" Jack sat next to her. She startled a little at the sound of his voice in her ear but shook her head.

"I'm not much of one for gossip, Sir," she shrugged. Jack nodded as he looked in at the fire.

"Catchy tune," he said, commenting on the heavy drumbeats playing incessantly in the background while others danced around the fire. Sam turned to him and smiled.

"I should see if they have a CD available.." she quipped. Jack smiled.

Suddenly a woman passed by then, offering Sam some purple fruit. When Jack lifted his hand to take some, she stopped him and pointed to the man heading up behind her. Jack shrugged so Sam took some fruit and bit into it. It was sweet and juicy, the juice dribbling down her chin as she sucked most of it up quickly.

Jack turned and mopped the rest off her chin with his fingers as she tried to avoid dribbling the purple liquid onto her leather pants. Jack then sucked the juice from his fingers and lifted his brow.

"Hmm nice taste," he nodded. Sam smiled at him.

"Isn't it," she held the fruit out to him and he took a large bite.

****

"See! There she goes again," Daniel sighed as he mumbled to Teal'c sitting next to him. He was hiding his mouth behind the large pink fruit in his hand.

Teal'c gave a deep growl. "I see." Both men seethed with jealousy as they ate their pink fruit.

"Look, now she's smiling at him again," Daniel sighed exasperately. Teal'c turned away from the two on the other side of the fire and looked at his friend.

"Why do I feel like getting up and grabbing O'Neill and throwing him to the ground?" Teal'c asked. Daniel looked at him and shrugged.

"I don't know. But I have exactly the same feelings, only," he looked at his friend with a small smirk, "for completely different reasons, I'm sure."

Teal'c smiled. "I'm sure also, Daniel," he nodded. The younger man sat forward and laughed as he shook his head.

"Maybe I should just go over there and tell him..." Daniel sighed.

"Perhaps it is too late," Teal'c watched as Sam and Jack left the group and headed off between the huts. Daniel closed his eyes as he as he bit his bottom lip lightly. He took another large bite of his fruit then threw the rest into the fire. It made the fire flare brightly then it settled. A female villager ran over and put her hands on Daniel's shoulders.

"What are you doing?" he asked gruffly. She tried to soothe him but he frowned and shrugged her off. "Go away!" he almost yelled then he looked up into the accusing eyes of Teal'c. Sighing softly, he bowed his head as the female villager went away.

*****

"Sir, what would happen if I started.... something.. with..." Sam stopped herself. Jack sucked in a sharp breath and squinted his eyes.

"With whom?" he asked impatiently. He was not privy to the earlier conversation with the Seer about Sam's attraction to Teal'c so he was unaware where her true feelings laid. He assumed she was referring to Daniel. Sam bit her lips then looked up at him. He shook his head.

"I'd probably kill you," Jack said. Sam frowned.

"You would?" her blue eyes grew wide with surprise.

Jack sighed and nodded. "I guess I shouldn't be telling you this, only I have this compulsion to tell .. someone..." he frowned, a little unsure why he had this urge to disclose his inner most feelings to her. Sam nodded.

"So do I," she sighed as she looked at the ground.

"I know it's going to come as a shock to you Captain, but ......" Jack sighed, a part of him wanting to shut up right there and then, another part of him happy to confess finally, "I love him.."

Her eyes grew even wider. "Oh, God.. So do I!" she sighed softly.

Jack frowned. "Captain, I've just confessed to being in love with another man, and your response to that was.. so do you!?"

Sam shrugged. "Colonel, it doesn't matter to me if you love men or women, but what does concern me is that you and I love the same man," she sighed.

Jack frowned. His head felt light. "Okay, so what are we going to do about it?"

Sam's head felt numb. "I think.. well, I think he needs to make a decision, and let's face facts, he might not pick either of us.." she said.

Jack sighed as he sat down, pushing his hand through his hair.

"I can't live with that Carter..." he said, blinking his dark brown eyes slowly, "if I have to compete against you - for him... I'm sure to lose.."

"Sir?" she frowned. Jack gripped his hair tightly and tugged on it, trying to ease the burning in his brain. "Sam, god, look at you. What's more, male and female relationships are the norm, afterall," Jack sighed disheartedly, "there's no way he'd choose me, I'm dreaming!"

Sam squatted infront of him and gripped his wrists, pulling his hands away from his face. She wasn't used to seeing Jack so despondent, so lacking in self worth.

He could see her concern in her eyes. "Look at me Sam, I'm a crusty old man.."

"Jack, you know how I feel about you. I think you're one of the finest officers I've ever had the privilege of working with. I think you're a fine office and I think you're a pretty decent man too. You make some really bad jokes sometimes, but that only serves to lighten the moments for us. I know Daniel and I feel the same way..." she said.

Jack looked up. "Daniel thinks that?"

She nodded. "He thinks the world of you, now if only you were interested in him.." she laughed lightly. Jack frowned.

"I am.."

Sam blinked her bright blue eyes. "Sorry? You're interested in..?"

"Daniel.." Jack nodded. Sam threw her head back and then shook her head as she pulled him closer to hug him tightly.

"Jack!"

"Samantha!"

The cuddling couple pulled back to see Daniel and Teal'c staring at them. "I thought the Military had a no fraternizing policy, Jack?" Daniel bit sarcastically. Sam started to get up.

Jack squinted his eyes at the challenge. "It does. Between it's officers," he said as he stepped towards Daniel slowly. The younger man jutted his chin as he nodded.

Sam went over to Teal'c. "Nothing was happening.." she said, then wondered why she was telling him - like he'd care anyway! He lifted a brow as he looked at her.

Jack and Daniel stood eye to eye, Jack squinting at the younger man, Daniel blinking quickly.

Sam turned and looked over at the two next to her.

Jack shook his head slowly.

"Oh, what the..." he reached out and grabbed the back of Daniel's head, pulling the younger man towards him, kissing him so forcefully Daniel's feet scuffled in the dirt. Teal'c lifted his brow as he watched Daniel frantically try to pull away then slowly give in to the kiss. Sam watched, a little enviously, as Daniel's hands went around Jack's body, skimming down his back and resting onto his butt, where his fingers curled to dig into the tight leather clad pants. Teal'c watched as Jack engulfed Daniel in his strong arms, neither man coming up for air any time soon.

The two of them stood and watched as Jack and Daniel consumed each other in the kiss, the two strong bodies pulling tightly against the other, hands roaming across leather clad skin for a tighter hold. Daniel's foot lifted off the ground slightly as Jack's hand slid down the thigh gripping it tightly and squeezing it firmly. Sam closed her eyes as she heard Daniel's deep groan as Jack pulled back, both men heaving through lack of oxygen.

Daniel blinked quickly then turned and looked at the two amazed faces next to him. He licked his lips slowly as he looked at his large dark friend, seeing the envy in his eyes. Daniel looked back at Jack, who was looking at Sam, his head tilted a little, a challenge evident in his eyes.

Sam blinked, then shook her head ever-so-slightly and looked down quickly.

"Okay kids, let's see you do better," Jack laughed as he pointed to the two others. Sam looked at Teal'c, who gave a big grin.

"I am certain we shall," he scooped up the tiny woman into his arms and Sam barely had time to draw breath before Teal'c locked his lips against hers, the soft moist kiss sending a shiver throughout her body.

Daniel blushed a little as he watched Teal'c finally fulfill a long held wish. Jack smiled too, knowing that Sam would never have initiated the kiss, and glad that he gave them the opportunity to finally 'do it'. He gave Daniel a quick look when Sam wrapped her legs around Teal'c waist, both of them fully into the kiss now, Teal'c holding her up by her butt while Sam's hands roamed over his head then down his neck as her thighs tightened around the rock solid body.

Daniel looked down then looked up quickly when he felt Jack's hand on the back of his head again. He smiled at the Colonel who turned to face him.

"Any objections?" Jack asked softly. Daniel caught his breath as he smiled at Jack.

"None," he said softly so Jack pulled him into another soft, deep kiss, this time his tongue pressed into Daniel's mouth gently, jousting with the younger man's tongue as they stepped even closer together, entwined in each other's arms.

Teal'c slowly let Sam slip down his body as they broke the kiss. Sam was breathless, her lips swollen and pink from the incredible kiss. Teal'c smiled at her, then saw her wide eyed expression and bowed his head.

"I am sorry, Samantha," he said.

"For?" she frowned.

"It was more than a challenge," he said, then added, "for me."

Sam blinked, unaware of the two next to her kissing again, as she stared deeply into the dark eyes before her.

"Teal'c you telling me that you have feelings for me?" she frowned. He nodded as he bowed his head more.

"I have never felt like this since I started courting Drey'ak," he said softly. Sam cupped her hand under his chin, and smiled.

"Teal'c, it's okay, because I have feelings for you too," she said. He stared into her wide eyes.

"You do?"

She nodded, her cheeks dimpling. "Yeah, for a while now," she said.

"I did not think you would ever have feelings for.."

"Why?"

"I am an alien.." he said simply. Sam blinked. She'd almost forgotten that.

"You know, Teal'c, I don't look at you and see an alien.." she said softly.

He frowned. "What do you see?"

"An incredibly good looking person, who makes me catch my breath whenever he looks at me, who makes me want to lie awake at night, wrapped in these strong arms," she ran her hands over his bare arms, "who makes me want to kiss those incredible lips..." her finger touched his lips lightly. Teal'c caught his breath.

"I, too, have had fantasies about holding you... and .. touching you.." he went shy again. Sam smiled.

"I've had those as well," she confessed. Teal'c looked at her then at Jack and Daniel who were slowly pulling apart with little soft kisses.

Daniel was just about to say something when Jack covered his mouth with his own again. The younger man groaned deeply then wrapped his arms around Jack's head tightly as the Colonel started tugging at the little vest Daniel was wearing.

"Um, guys..." Sam called to them then resorted to patting Jack's arm, finally making the older man pull away from Daniel, who looked like a drowning man, needing air.

"Maybe you two should get a room," she laughed at the slightly breathless anthropologist. Daniel looked bashfully at Jack.

"What a good idea, Captain," Jack smiled as he tugged on Daniel's vest ties some more.

"Wait for it Jack," he smacked the Colonel's hands away. Sam bit her lips together as she smiled, then looked at Teal'c. He looked at her earnestly.

"You alright?" she frowned. Teal'c nodded.

"You sure?" Sam asked again.

"My head feels light," he confessed, raising his hand to his head.

Jack frowned and so did Daniel. "I thought it was just me.." Daniel said, running his hand through his long fringe.

Jack looked at him with one raised brow. "You, light headed? Never!" he teased. Daniel rolled his eyes as he gave a mocking laugh.

Sam nodded. "I feel the same way..." she sighed.

"Perhaps we were poisoned.." Teal'c suggested. Daniel looked at Jack then shrugged.

"You were not poisoned," the Seer stepped around the hut now and looked at them. Jack suddenly bristled, realising that they were tricked some way.

"Then what would you call it then? The four of us have just.. done.. something that we wouldn't ordinarily do," Jack said. Daniel quickly glanced at Teal'c who reached out and patted his shoulder gently, aware his young friend was fearful that Jack was not himself and therefore the kiss.. or kisses.. didn't mean anything to him really.

The Seer looked around the group.

"You wouldn't ordinarily do?" he frowned.

"I kissed Daniel.." Jack pointed to the younger man and Daniel shuddered, realising that Jack was going to deny the kisses.

"You would not normally do this?" The Seer asked. Daniel felt Sam and Teal'c turn to look at him, so kept his head down.

"No, I would not," Jack said, unaware of the younger man behind him, covering his face in despair now. Sam went over and squatted next to Daniel, her arms going around his shoulders as she rested her chin on his shoulder.

"How about you?" the seer turned to Teal'c.

"I kissed Captain Carter.." he said. Sam looked up at him, hoping he wasn't about to deny those kisses also.

"And you would not normally do that?" the seer asked.

"No. I am an alien, and she is an Officer. A relationship between us could never work," Teal'c said, standing straight, his hands clasped behind his back now. Daniel heard the soft inhale of breath from Sam and wrapped his arm around her, to give her some comfort now.

The Seer nodded as he looked from Jack to Teal'c.

"Shall I tell you what you want to know?" he asked. Jack looked at Teal' c then shrugged.

"I think we deserve that much," he nodded. The Seer, without realising it, wandered away a little, so Jack and Teal'c followed him. They were now out of hearing range for Daniel and Sam.

"We were unaware how our fruits would affect your species. Here, on Godrich, the purple fruit acts as a truth serum."

"A truth serum?" Jack frowned so the villager nodded.

"Do you not have such a thing on your world?" he asked.

Jack nodded. "We do.."

The Villager sighed. "Then I am afraid we do not have anything to offer you in way of a trade for your help with fighting of the Golden One," the villager said sadly.

"Hang on," Jack lifted his hand, "you telling me that that fruit makes the eater tell the truth?"

The villager nodded. "That is correct. The purple fruit is for emotions. It makes the eater confess to inner emotions, the pink fruit makes the eater act upon secrets that are buried very deeply in one's soul."

"That is the fruit that DanielJackson and I ate," Teal'c said. Jack looked at him, realising that he was powerless to resist the challenge Jack had given him earlier. Having the truth fruit might be a strategic advantage, provided they didn't fall into the wrong hands on Earth! But having a fruit that made you act upon your feelings was a dangerous weapon, especially in the wrong hands...

"The red fruit.."

"I don't think we ate any red fruit.." Jack frowned, looking at Teal'c for confirmation. The Jaffa shook his head.

The Seer nodded then continued. "That is for physical awareness. It helps heal our ill and disabled. They eat that fruit and if their limbs are merely lying dormant, they are compelled to work. It helps sort out those that can work, from those that cannot. You would be surprised how many of our villagers pretend to have a bad back so that they may escape the harder work. By making them eat the red fruit, they are forced to reveal if the disability is true or not."

Jack lifted his brow. "Well, we certainly need something like that back on earth," he said.

"Then you shall take some fruit with you," he said. Jack tilted his head then smiled.

"Thank you," he nodded. "And in return we will give you a means by which you can contact us whenever you need our help in the future."

The Seer bowed then straightened up. "Be aware, the effects of the fruit, while instantaneous, do wear off quickly. You will find you are no longer under the influence in another few moments."

Jack nodded. "A 'Wham, Bam, Thank you ma'am' kinda fruit, is it?" he quipped. The Seer frowned at the unusual words but smiled, sensing in Jack's mind that it was a good kind of effect.

"Perhaps," he nodded

"What of the blue fruit?" Teal'c asked finally. The Seer frowned.

"Blue fruit? That has no powers whatsoever, neither does the orange, green or yellow fruit. They merely provide substance..."

Teal'c nodded.

"Now I believe you have some worried people over there," the seer pointed to the two sitting down, talking and not listening to the conversation anymore. Jack turned to see Daniel stroking Sam's cheek lightly.

"Errr.. tell me.." he whispered to the Seer, who gave him a smile.

"Never fear. His heart is yours alone."

Jack nodded. "Cool." He looked at Teal'c who titled his head down a little.

"Oh, one thing more.." Jack grabbed the seer before he went away. The younger man's eyes squinted then he nodded.

"They shall be ready for you," he said then headed off. Teal'c looked at Jack.

"What shall be ready?"

"Rooms. I've just ordered two rooms," he smiled and patted the Jaffa's stomach.

Teal'c shook his head. "I do not think Samantha will like that very much," he said. Jack smiled.

"Trust me, she will," Jack patted his shoulder then headed over to the two talking.

"So did you two catch much of that?" Jack asked, squatting next to Sam, at Daniel's feet.

"Enough," Daniel sighed and exchanged quick glances with Sam. She avoided looking at Teal'c.

"Okay, so they tell us that two rooms are available," Jack said, unaware of the mood of his fellow team members. Sam and Daniel exchanged quick glances.

"Well, as you three are used to showering and bathing together," she said as she pushed up to a standing position, dusting off her knees, "I guess I'll take one, and you three can share the other." With that she was gone.

Teal'c lifted his brow and looked at Jack who just shrugged. Daniel got up and followed her around, without so much as a glance at Jack.

Jack looked at Teal'c then shrugged. "I don't know what's wrong with them.." he sighed. Teal'c shook his head slowly as he headed around.

"Errr... Teal'c.." Jack wanted to tell him that he wasn't welcomed in his hut either, but figured the guy had had enough rejection for one night.

*****

Daniel was cornered by the Chief before he could make it into the hut so wasn't in there by the time Jack and Teal'c entered the small dwelling and looked around. There were only two beds in the hut, one slightly wider than the other. Jack pointed to the bigger one.

"Where will Daniel sleep?" Teal'c whispered. Jack frowned.

"How long have you been calling him Daniel?"

Teal'c lifted a brow as he thought about it. "For a while now. I usually remember to call him DanielJackson around others though," he said. Jack frowned suspiciously.

"Teal'c, how close are you and Danny?" he asked, dreading the answer a little.

"Daniel is like my younger brother. I care very deeply for him," he said sincerely. Jack nodded.

"And that's it?" he squinted his eyes a little. Teal'c nodded.

"That is all. I will, however, like an older brother, protect him.." he said with a lift of his brow. Jack understood immediately and nodded.

"Never fear, I'm not going to hurt him.." Jack nodded.

"See to it that you do not, O'Neill," Teal'c said acutely. Jack stared into his dark brown eyes a moment before nodding then turning and taking the larger bed.

Teal'c headed over to the smaller bed and laid down.

Jack was almost asleep when he heard Daniel enter the hut. He sensed the younger man hesitate and then rolled onto his back.

"Danny," he called quietly, not wanting to wake Teal'c. Daniel stopped just as he was heading out through the door again. He turned around. Jack pulled back his blanket made of matted leaves. Daniel frowned then headed over to him, standing at the side of the bed.

"Come to bed," Jack said softly. Daniel closed his eyes at the sight of Jack beckoning him into his bed.

"I.. can't.." he stammered softly, nervously bouncing on his toes as he tapped his fingers on the straw mattress.

Jack reached out and touched Daniel's hand, pulling him into the bed with him. Daniel laid down, his back to Jack, as he forced himself to close his eyes and try to get some sleep. But his heart was pounding in his throat too loudly to let him sleep. He felt Jack moving in the bed behind him, and wished he didn't feel so agitated there next to him. He startled when he felt Jack touch his hair, sweeping it back behind his ear. He screwed his eyes shut tightly as he felt his arousal begin. He was close to tears as he felt Jack's hand touch his cheek then the back of his ear as he swept more hair off Daniel's cheek. Then he felt Jack's warm mouth kiss the back of his ear lightly. A soft squeak escaped the younger man now as his erection pressed at his clothing as he heard Jack's deep inhale of breath as his lips hovered over his ear.

"Danny," he whispered softly. Daniel caught his breath loudly as he startled to the soft call. He felt Jack's hand slip between his arm and his chest then across the front of him as he tried to calm his ragged breath. Jack inched in closer to him now, his legs entwining with Daniel's.

"Danny," he called again, this time it didn't shock the younger man in his fully aroused state. Instead Daniel just started to tremble slightly. Jack felt the trembles and gently pulled Daniel onto his back, where their eyes met in an intense stare.

"Jack,... please.. don't.." Daniel whispered tearfully. Jack frowned in confusion.

"You don't want me..?" he asked. Daniel screwed his eyes shut and Jack saw the tear squeezed out and roll down Daniel's face into his hair.

"Hey," Jack said softly, his leg slipping effortlessly between Daniel's now, his thigh pressing against the swollen groin.

"Jack.. please..." Daniel cried softly. "You're not thinking.. please.. don't.." he shook his head.

"I'm not thinking straight? Is that what you wanted to say? You think we were all drugged, don't you?"

Daniel nodded, screwing his eyes shut again, feeling another hot tear trail down the side of his face.

"Danny, it was truth serum," he said. Daniel's eyes opened slowly.

"Sorry?"

"The fruit. They act like truth serum," Jack smiled at the watery blue eyes as his thumb gently stroked the soft cheek.

"Truth...?"

Jack nodded. "See? So I was forced to tell the truth.. and you were forced to do the truth because you ate the pink fruit.."

"Pink fruit..?" Daniel frowned.

Jack nodded, "and the truth is, Danny .. I want you..." he sighed huskily. Daniel's heart rate quickened again.

"Oh.. god.." he sighed. Quietly, Teal'c rolled off his bed and left the hut. Jack smiled then looked down at Daniel.

"Ooops," he smiled.

Daniel bit his lip lightly as he looked back at Jack.

"So it was truth serum?" he frowned, still in disbelief. Jack nodded as he stroked the cheek some more. Daniel's hand came up and stopped his hand.

"You don't like that?" Jack frowned.

"I do.. I.. just.. I don't think you know what you're doing..." he said, unconvinced if the fruits told the truth or made up fantasies that *felt* like the truth.

"What will it take to convince you?" Jack frowned.

Daniel thought a moment. "When I got my outfit.." he pointed to the one he was wearing.

Jack groaned lustfully then laughed softly, "go on.."

"Did you really want to see me in it?" Daniel asked.

Jack frowned. "How did you know that?"

"The seer told me..." he said softly. Jack frowned.

"He told me I made you nervous.." Jack said.

Daniel nodded. "You do. Often."

"Because you like me?" Jack asked. Daniel nodded.

"Because I lust for you...." he said in a whisper. Jack inhaled sharply then he gripped Daniel's face in his hand.

"Then let's stop talking.." Jack kissed his lips softly then pulled back to be sure Daniel was okay with it. Daniel's blue eyes searched the older man's face, sure he was never going to get this close to Jack O'Neill in his lifetime, his gaze lingered on Jack's lips a while. Jack brought his face closer to his and kissed him tenderly again, pulling back slowly and watching as Daniel slowly opened his eyes again.

"Do you have any idea what seeing you in this little leather number is doing to me?" Jack laughed lightly.

Daniel picked up Jack's hand and placed it over his own groin. Jack's eyes widened.

"Anything like that?" Daniel frowned but smiled. Jack gently gripped the groin making the younger man moan  as he tilted his head back, arching his throat. Jack nuzzled his face against the soft skin, his lips brushing it lightly as he gently squeezed again, causing Daniel's whole body to arch this time.

Jack quickly undid the rest of the thongs, pushing the leather vest aside and kissing the smooth chest all over. Daniel ran his hands through Jack's hair as he held the man's head as it passed over his chest, placing little kisses on every inch of flesh.

Sam rolled over when she heard someone enter her hut.

"Teal'c?" she leant up onto her elbows. He squatted next to her bed.

"I am sorry Samantha, but I have no where else to go," he said. She looked outside and could see that the villagers had gone to bed.

"What's wrong with your hut?" she frowned.

Teal'c blinked quickly as he clenched his jaw nervously.

"Jack and Daniel?" she whispered. Teal'c nodded.

"Oh," she nodded.

"May I use the other bed tonight?" he asked. She swallowed hard as she looked at him, wanting him to crawl into bed with her, but all she did was nod.

"Sure," she said, indicating to the other bed. He got up and laid down on it, turning away from her. She laid back, tucking her arm under her head as she stared at the back of the large Jaffa.
