Ten Things You Can Do To Stop The War On Iraq, Global Exchange, Sept. 20, 2002
Medea Benjamin, a co-founder of Global Exchange, was one of two protesters who unfurled banners asking for inspections, not war, concerning Iraq during a Sept. 18 address by Assistant Chief Chicken Hawk Rumsfeld [Bush and Cheney are chief chicken hawks; Rumsfeld never saw combat, but he did fly Navy jets between the Korean and Vietnam wars, so he can't accurately be a full chief chicken hawk] before a Congressional committee. A CNN article on that protest is here.
Bravo to Benjamin and Diane Wilson for that type of effective protest, which even Rumsfeld had to acknowledge. We need more of such creative, attention-getting protests.

It depicts most of Bush's sins - stealing the 2000 election, lying, giving corporate paybacks, building a police state, taking month-long vacations, and pushing for tax cuts for the rich - all in one easy-to-read-and-laugh-at cartoon.]
