Maher Arar's Delivered Into Hell by U.S. War on Terror, Column by Syrian-born Canadian who was wrongly accused of being a terrorist and held by U.S. government without a lawyer, then sent to Syria to be jailed in a small cell for almost a year, Los Angeles Times, Dec. 3, 2003.

Bush's Midterm and the Real State of the Union, Democratic National Committee, Jan. 28, 2003
This is an excellent series of detailed reports on the lowlights of the Bush regime, such as the loss of 2.4 million jobs since Bush stole the White House.
ACTION ALERT, Oct. 2002: Call the RepublicaNazi National Committee's toll-free line at 1-866-NOT-TRUE to tell it about the many, many, many instances and ads where Bush, Cheney, and other Republicans lie about Democrats and other matters. The Freepers and RNC are claiming Democrats lie, when Republicans lie much more often than Democrats. To see the Republicanazi's pathetic, hypocritical site, click here. You can also send your own email to the RNC from that site, such as the one I sent, a copy of which is here.
Stephen Goldstein's Whack Back on Nov. 5, Florida Sun-Sentinel, Oct. 22, 2002 The Jeb Bush Scandals site links this article and much more that demonstrate how Jeb Bush has failed people here.
Mark Twain's Victory of the Loud Little Handful, 1910, Philadelphia Inquirer, Sept. 22, 2002. Written almost a century ago, Twain forecast the propaganda campaign that justifies most calls to war, particularly the current one by the Bush forces against Iraq. Another link to the story is here.
Ten Things You Can Do
To Stop The War On Iraq, Global Exchange, Sept. 20, 2002 Medea Benjamin, a co-founder of Global Exchange, was one of two protesters who unfurled banners asking for inspections, not war, concerning Iraq during a Sept. 18 address by Assistant Chief Chicken Hawk Rumsfeld [Bush and Cheney are chief chicken hawks; Rumsfeld never saw combat, but he did fly Navy jets between the Korean and Vietnam wars, so he can't accurately be a full chief chicken hawk] before a Congressional committee. A CNN article on that protest is here. Bravo to Benjamin and Diane Wilson for that type of effective protest, which even Rumsfeld had to acknowledge. We need more of such creative, attention-getting protests.
U.S. Rep. Cynthia McKinney's Dissent, The Costs of the War Against Terrorism Act, Aug. 22, 2002 Speaking out against Bush's policies helped get Rep. McKinney ousted on Aug. 20, but she stood up for what she thought was right. She deserves our support and praise. May she land an even bigger platform to speak the truth, perhaps talk radio?
Tom the Dancing Bug's Our CEO President, Aug. 12, 2002 [NOTE: It may be unusual to choose a cartoon here, but this cartoon was so great it had to be chosen. It depicts most of Bush's sins - stealing the 2000 election, lying, giving corporate paybacks, building a police state, taking month-long vacations, and pushing for tax cuts for the rich - all in one easy-to-read-and-laugh-at cartoon.]
