When I find the person who decided that Rabb should do the escort duty for Princess Alexi, I'm going to kill him. Or her. I don't care what gender, the person is dead.

Of course, it would make much more sense if I found out that it was a woman. Probably got carried away by those dress whites and gold wings. Goodness gracious, this isn't some damn movie. It's a matter of national security.

I don't even know where to start.

The princess was taken with him, that much was obvious. I wonder if she was at his apartment when I showed up the other night. That would have explained the noises. 'Sex is a full contact sport if you're a carrier pigeon.' What is it if you're a thirtysomething naval officer and she's a teenage Romanian Princess. A crime, I think. Hell, I don't know.

The 'reporter' neighbor was irritating enough when she was just a reporter for the Post. Once her real identity was uncovered, it was much worse. I just hope he didn't tell her anything she couldn't have figured out elsewhere.

I'm sure Rabb is just the person who would exchange national secrets for sex. Yes, and I'm Robert Kennedy.

I think the worse thing was telling the Romanian King that if he couldn't make the big decisions, maybe he didn't need to be king. The nerve.

But, as always, things worked out in the end with him around. The assassin was killed, Romania announced it's attention to become a member of NATO. And of course, Lieutenant Commander Rabb comes out a hero.

Damn, doesn't he ever fail?
