MARGUERITA

THE MOST ANTICIPATED MOTION PICTURE EVENT OF THE YEAR!

There's not really much to explain.
"Marguerita" is the riveting true-life story of Margot Blakeney (York), who rose above childhood poverty and a scandalous past to achieve unimaginable fortune and fame. Despite widespread controversy, her passion changed a nation forever!

Marguerita slept her way through society, gaining momentum as she reached the top. The top which happened to be, at the time, Percival Blakeney.
France was, at the time, recovering from the war and was still held under many dictators' thumbs. Percy seemed a way to get away from all that, a man running for President who cared about the people.
When Percy was arrested for his viewpoints, Margot went out and rallied up the people to stand behind this wonderful leader.
He was soon not only released from prison, but elected President.
Marguerita, in her thank you's to the people, promised her people that she would tear down the aristocrats, making the world better for the common man.
Needless to say, the people loved her.
She shunned the upper classes, and began a foundation to help the people still plagued by war and their station in life.
However, Percy was turning into more and more of a dictator.
After a few years of her crusading, Margot collapsed.
It was discovered that she had cancer and would not have long to live.
Needless to say, Percy was devastated. He had saved hundreds of thousands of strangers from death, and yet he could do nothing to save the woman he loved...
Meanwhile, Margot continued to disintergrate until she finally gave into the pain and accepted her final defeat.
And, as the final song begins, we get our last glimpse of our narrator for this story.
The angry, edgy, sarcastic man who has appeared in every main scene of Margot's life, seemingly haunting her to tell us the story.
The man known as Chevelin.
(There should be an accent over the 'e'. Just imagine it there)

Movie Viewing

If you want to have a great movie-watching experiance, all you need to do is invite over a fellow Pimpy fan and rent Evita.
Then sing along, changing the names (Eva=Margot, Percy=Peron, Che=Chevelin)
and the name of the country. Argentina is now "Paris and France!" (I know, it sounds kinda stupid, but there's way too many empty slyabuls when you just say "France".
Then prepare to laugh!
(Example: During "Waltz for Eva and Che", watch how Che keeps trying to hold her close and she keeps pushing him away in a "Where's the Girl?" sort of way!)
