Congrats to all the Olympic athletes who represented Canada!

I'm going to post as much of cheating that happens in the Olympics that I can.

Canada's best trains hard for years only to have their dreams shattered by cheating, banned substances, and 'pressured judges'.

Yes, the news presents it, but then it's old news and forgotten. I don't want people to forget it 'cause there are more Olympics coming, more athletes training and more dreams being shattered.. We have a responsibility as fans to back them up just as much as they represent our country.

Cheating at 2006 Winter Games

After the Athens Summer games, the Canadian government announced more details of its cash infusion into amateur sport on Tuesday. Stephen Owen, the minister of state for sport, has allocated $10.2 million to national sport organizations for coaching salaries, training and competition needs. An additional $1 million will go into the National Coaching Certification program to certify more coaches.

Oct. 21st: I went to the Ceremonies at Canada Olympic Park in Calgary and got to see Beckie Scott get her updated medal in person. Well, this was long overdue. It's even possible she will have the gold before Christmas. GO HERE
