"Visitor From Heaven"

A visitor from heaven
if only for a while.
A gift of love to be returned
We think of you & smile.
A visitor from heaven
Accompanied by grace,
Reminding of a better love
And of a better place.

With aching hearts and empty arms
We sent you with a name.
It hurts so much to let you go
But we're so glad you came.
We're so glad you came.

A visitor from heaven
If only for a day.
We thank Him for the time He gave
And now it's time to say
We trust you to the Father's love
and to his tender care.
Held in everlasting arms.
And we're so glad you're there.
We're so glad you're there.

With breaking hearts and open hands
We send you with a name.
It hurts so much to let you go
but we're so glad you came.
We're so glad you came.

"Stars"

Stars are the windows of heaven
Where angels peep through
Up in the sky they keep an eye,
on kids like me & you.
They cry each time we are naughty,
Their teardrops are the rain.
But when we're good they are smiling
And they shine again,
My Mom said
Stars are the windows of heaven
Where angels peep through.

To Cristin Claire
With Love,
Your Big Sister Cassidy

This is a little song my Mom used to sing us & sang to Cassidy when she was a baby, she said she had thought about how she would have another little girl to sing it to when she was on her way to our house for Cristin's arrival.

"In Memory of Those Loved"

May you always walk in sunshine
And God's love around you flow;
For the happiness you gave us,
No one will ever know.
It broke our hearts to lose you,
But you did not go alone;
A part of us went with you
The day God called you home.
A million times we've needed you,
A million times we've cried.
If love could only have saved you,
You never would have died.
