Kauria's Dream

It was another one of her odd dreams. It was vague; she could only make out a few details at a time. It was as though she were sleeping, which was absurd because one didn't dream about sleeping.

Inside her dream, she awoke a moment, and caught a glimpse of a magnificent palace. It was slowly receding from her. Then all went black again. . .

The next time she woke, she felt as though she were being tossed about. She though she could see trees above her and turned her head. For a moment, she thought she saw someone watching her, but once more the blackness came. . .

The third, and final, time she woke, her vision was very clear.
