Jeremy Jackson was born on the 16th of October 1980 in Newport beach, California. He got into "the biz" pretty early, being the official "Mattel"-boy. He also played a young "Kevin Arnold" in an episode of "The Wonder Years". His first appearance in a movie was in "Shout" alongside John Travolta, Jamie Walters and Heather Graham in 1991. After this blink-and-you'll-miss-it performance he went to a casting for the new "Hobie Buchannon". The prodcuers were searching for someone younger than Brandon Call, who had played the part of Hobie in the first Baywatch season but went on to play J.T. on "Step by Step" in 1991. Jeremy also did a shortmovie called "The Bulkin Trail" with his tv-dad David Hasselhoff in 1992. Jeremy soon became a teen-idol, appearing in every teen-mag from "16" to "Big Bopper". He was even nominated for a Young Artist award in 1992 and in 1993. After handing David Hasselhoff a tape of his appearance on his school's talent contest (Jeremy sung "Blue Suede Shoes") he got the possibility to record a CD on David's label "Hasselhits". His music also be came part of an episode of Baywatch (the one with the earthquake - where Hobie starts his own band) and was featured on the official Baywatch soundtrack. His first single was a cover of the America-hit "I Need You". His debut album "Number One" was only released in Europe and enjoyed moderate success, specially in the Netherlands, Germany and Austria, where Jeremy also opened for David on some of his concerts. In 1995 a second album called "Always" was released and Jeremy went on a promotional tour through Europe, promoting the record and his single "French Kiss" (Pamela Anderson appeared in the video!). Jeremy had worked with the producers that had already written most of the songs for Joey Lawrence's first album. 1997 a 4-track CD-single and a video clip titled "You really got it going on" were released in Holland. In 1999 Jeremy left Baywatch because of substance abuse related problems. In August 00 he was detained following a drug raid by undercover cops at his girlfriend's home in Yorba Linda, California. He was booked on suspicion of methampetamine possession. No charges were filed.  After overcoming his problems he returned to the small screen in a Baywatch Special released in 2003 (Hawaiian Wedding) and played the role of Xavier in a film about a zombie boy band (Ring of Darkness, 2004). In 2005 he played Jack Stevens in a straight-to-video thriller called Expose. He was featured on a bunch of talk shows, talking about his heavy drug use during his Baywatch years (Tyra Banks Show, an interview on an E! TV Special titled Child Star Confidential, an episode of 'The View'). He was also brought on as a guest on News Talk Show "The Big Idea with Donny Deutsch" on CNBC to talk about Methamphetamines in Hollywood. Right now he's doing voice overs, promoting several nightclubs and a clothing brand. For more info on him, check out the links section.
