The
greatest rewards aren't those that are expected, but rather
those that were not expected. If one expects a reward
and gains it, he will not appreciate it as much. If he does
not get one, then he will feel disappointment.
If one does
not expect one and gains one, then it truly is a gift to be
cherished. And if you don't get one, you lost nothing.
But you still gained much for doing a good deed. |
