This is Chun-Li's easiest air combo setup! Just do the jump in followed by the ground magic and finish it off with the air combo.

This one is a bit more advanced than the one above, but the same concept applies! The only difference is the extra hits in the combo.

7)J.Short, J.Forward, J.T.Roundhouse \/ D.S.Jab, S.Short,S.Roundhouse /\ SJ.Jab, SJ.Short, SJ.Strong, SJ.Forward, SJ.Fierce, SJ.Roundhouse

This one's a toughy! On the jump-in part, you must hold forward and press Roundhouse before landing. After that, the rest of the combo should flow easily.Also, it is easier to do this one in the corner!

8)In the corner:J.Short, J.Forward \/ D.S.Jab,S.Short,C.Forward, C.Fierce XX Senretsukyaku

This one is similar to combo number 2, except that it now includes a jump-in and the added hits to make it more interesting.

9)J.Short, J.Forward, J.T.Roundhouse \/ D.S.Jab, S.Short, S.Forward,S.Fierce XX Senretsukyaku XX Kikoushou XX Hazan Tenshoukyaku

Notice all of the cancelling? That's the EX Cancel feature in action! Make sure that you have all 3 levels of super available for this one,cause you will need them. This combo is very similar to #9, but it has twice the amount of hits to the triple super move cancel. You could also substitute the last two supers with a Team Super for better damage!

10)In the corner: J.Short, J.Forward, J.T.Roundhouse \/ D.S.Jab, S.Short, S.Roundhouse /\ SJ.Jab, SJ.Short, SJ.Jab, SJ.Short /\ SJ.Jab, SJ.Short, SJ.Fierce, SJ.Roundhouse

This combo is a little difficult since you have to repeat the two SJ.Jab and SJ.Shorts twice.What I do is pause for a split second between the first SJ.Jabs and SJ.Shorts so that my opponent doesn't go higher than I am because then I can double jump and finish the combo right away.


STRATEGIES

- Chun-Li is a great character to pick if you're one of those people that like speed and strength! All of her moves are quick, which means that her recovery time is pretty good as well. All of her supers are very reliable since they have good range and damage potential and they can all be chained to her combos! Her combos are not as damaging if you just use normal hits, but with the aid of her supers she should be fine as long as your opponent is not able to block them in time. I don't know if she has an infinite combo in this game, but if she does let me know immediately and I'll post it as a separate combo like the one you would find in Wolverine's section.

- Some of Chun-Li's special moves are a little slow, but they do help! Her fireball has a little bit of a startup delay, but it pays off for the damage it inflicts. Don't try to chain it to combos because it just won't work even if you use the jab version! Her Lightning Kick on the other hand, is very good for stopping characters who love to hit low. Make them pay for their insolence! Her overhead kick is not that good since it takes so long for it to actually to come out. However, this move is very good at stopping "turtles" (turtles are people who like to wait for you to move first and then try to punish you after a missed special move or super). Her Rising Bird Kick is one of Chun-Li's best moves because its good at counterattacking "jumpy" opponents like Wolverine and Omega Red. Omega Red is specially a problem because he's obsessed with jumping and then using those coils that come out of his hands. Wolverine however, is an easy target for Chun-Li because all she needs to do is perform her launcher and Wolverine will be knocked out of the air! Her Stomp Kick really helps Chun-Li to set up some of her combos because this move kind of makes the opponent go up a little giving Chun-Li a chance to sneak in some extra hits to her combos.

- Chun-Li's supers are also very good! Her Kikoushou is great for sucking in your opponent for some chipping damage or to punish a missed special move or super. This super also chains off her C.Roundhouse the same way it did in X-Men vs. Street Fighter! The Senretsu Kyaku can be chained after her standing or crouching Fierce which gives you an advantage when you want to add extra hits and damage to her combos. And finally there's the Hazan Tenshoukyaku, this move is a little weaker than the other supers but it can be chained off her launcher and/or her C.Fierce depending on the size of her opponent and whether she's close enough for it to connect. If you miss with this super, you'll be in for a world of hurt because the recovery time for this move isn't very good. I just wish that she had that Raging Demon Kick she now has in Marvel vs. Capcom because it is very painful and it only requires one level of super energy.

- As far as her combos go, most of them can only work against the larger characters like Hulk and Black Heart. This is because her moves push the opponent too far and she won't have time to chain her supers afterwards. If you find any combos that you like, I suggest that you first try them on Black Heart because he's very tall and most of her moves are guaranteed to connect! She also has some double jump combos, but I've only been able to do one of them. If you're one of those cheapass players that like infinites, don't count on me to help you because I'm not very good at those myself and even if I was, I would only perform them against the computer.
