This is Dan's largest normal ground combo! It's too bad that he does not have a ground magic, because he could really kick some butt if he did. Anyways, the C.Roundhouse after the Roundhouse Gale Kick but I suggest that you only try it in the corner to reduce the chances of the computer rolling out before the otg.

If you noticed the EX Cancels, then that means that this combo will require all 3 levels of super. You can also replace the last two supers for a Team Super for greater damage!
5)J.Roundhouse \/ D.C.Fierce /\ SJ.Jab, SJ.Short, SJ.Strong,(SJ.Forward), SJ.Roundhouse
You can add an extra hit to the air combo if you're at the right height and you're doing it on one of the large characters!!
6)Variable Assist, Team Super
Another cheesy, but powerful combo. Dan better have a good partner for this one or else he's in trouble! I suggest that you either team him up with Captain America or Cyclops because they both cover great distances with their supers.
Note: The following combos are done in the corner against large opponents such as Omega Red, Hulk, or Zangief, but not on Black Heart because its hard to otg him!!

Yes!! This combo was obvious from the beginning, but I didn't know about until now. Sorry!!!
8)J.Roundhouse \/ C.Strong XX Roundhouse Gale Kick, C.Short (OTG) XX Fierce Gadouken XX Shinkuu Gadouken XX Team Super
This will only work if you're very close to your opponent and you have enough super energy in your Hyper Combo Gauge. If you want to save on energy, then just cancel the C.LK (OTG) into the Fierce Gadouken and hyper cancel into the Shinkuu Gadouken only. But if you want damage, then go ahead and hyper cancel the Shinkuu Gadouken immediately into a Team Super after the 4-5th hit or else it'll miss!! Also, make sure that your partner's team super complements yours or else his/her's will just miss and you don't want that at all!!
9)J.Roundhouse \/ C.Strong XX Roundhouse Gale Kick, C.Short (OTG) XX Hisshou Buraiken XX Shinkuu Gadouken XX Kouryuurekka
Yes, another hyper cancel combo for Dan!! This one is easier though!! Just cancel the C.Short (OTG) into the Hisshou Buraiken to make it connect and then you can either use the other supers as hyper cancels or just use your last 2 levels to hyper cancel into a team super. But make sure you have enough energy and that your partner's team super move complements Dan's because you don't want both supers to miss, now do you?!!
STRATEGIES
- I gotta say it, Dan's moves are WEAK! Not to mention his tiny fireball along with his short range dragon punch. There is only one good move that Dan has and that's his Gale Kick. And to make it even worse, Capcom gave him no zigzag magic on the ground at all. The only time he can chain all of his moves are in air combos and that's it. I really hate him in this game! The only good thing about him is that he can stop any of Wolverine's brutal combos, other than that he really sucks unless you somehow manage to master him.
- Dan's fireball is tiny and it doesn't have very good range! I don't know why Capcom decided to make him a weakling in this game. I don't think that this move will even put a scratch on your opponent's life bar since it is so weak. His dragon punch is also bad, because he doesn't have any horizontal range when he performs it and you could end up eating a super or a team super which is even worse!However, he does have a good move which is his Gale Kick. The Gale Kick has good range and it will even combo off any of his normal standing or crouching attacks, but remember that he has no ground magic series so you're going to have to do one hit followed by this move (if you want multiple hits, use his S.Forward). And finally, one of the worst moves that Dan has is his Autograph thingy. Yes, Dan signs a piece of paper with his picture on it and "tries" to hit you with it. The only problem is that it takes a very long time to come out and it can be seen from a mile away! If you want to get yourself into trouble, go ahead and perform this move as many times as you want.
- I gotta hand it to ya though, Dan does have some very good supers! Although his Shinkuu-Gadouken has no reach, it can be very painful if you lure your opponent into it. Be careful with this move though, because your opponent can see it coming from far away and jump over it to hit you instead. Another one of his good supers is his Hisshou Buraiken, this super move does good damage and it is less risky than his Shinkuu-Gadouken. This super is also good for punishing those missed dragon punches! But don't let Capcom fool you, because Dan also has a very crappy super which is his Kouryuurekka. This super isn't very good because Dan has no horizontal range during this super and you could really end up getting into trouble if it is blocked. If you want to win with Dan, use the other two supers.
- Did I mention that he also has a Raging Demon of his own? His Otoko Michi is basically a pointless super move! What he does is he gathers enough energy to inflict damage on his opponent, but unfortunately he ends up draining his entire life bar and leaves himself with one pixel of life left. If you want to kill yourself, go ahead and perform this super! But remember that you'll end up wasting three levels of super meter that you could have won with.
- Dan's combos are also weak because he doesn't even have a magic series for jumping combos or ground combos. He does however have a zigzag super jump magic, but that isn't even enough to win with. This tells you that Dan is not one of those combo happy characters.The best comb that Dan can pull off his is EX Hyper Cancel with three of his supers.
