February 8, 2001 Hannibal is Causing People to Faint People who have seen Hannibal, describe it as one of the most terrifying films they have ever seen. It has also been said that the film is so gruesome that it's causing some fans to faint. Director Ridley Scott admits that some scenes are proving too much for fans. In an interview he gave (along with Julianne, Hopkins and screenwriter Steven Zaillian) he explains: "Two people were in a screening recently, and one of them fainted during the dining table scene. She had become very tense watching Julianne running in the woods and also when she was alone in her house. Those are both suspenseful scenes." To read the whole interview follow this link. February 25, 2001 THE HOURS Turns out that Julianne won't be the one to play the role of Virginia Woolf in her upcoming movie "The Hours". In an interview I found at IGN Filmforce, she states that her character's name is Laura, so I guess she plays Laura Brown, the L.A. housewife in 1950, in the second story. Nicole Kidman will play Virginia Woolf, and finally, Meryl Streep will play Mara Day, the woman who's planning a party for her former lover in 1990s New York. Click here to read the whole interview. |
