PROFILE and THE SITE

I am Jerick Parrone,a journalism senior from the University of the Philippines-Diliman. This website, Tuesdays with Jerick, is a project for my online journalism class (J117) under Professor Danilo Arao.

The name "Tuesdays with Jerick" is conceptualized from the idea that our class day is on every Tuesday. Yet this is not my first time to create a website. I've learned my html coding at the age of 11 and I'd uploaded my first website at the same age.

My first public website was for my first year high school class. Please check out http://barroquillians.8k.com to view it. But since then, I have yet to upload a new website except for the template designed blog and multiply accounts.

The logo above is also my attempt on learning to do Photoshop. The red star is my so-called symbol way back in high school as I kept on putting that star in almost all my papers. It is also a symbol of my favorite artist, Avril Lavigne in her first album, Let Go. Meanwhile the black stars are there only for aesthetic purposes since I don't want my website to look very green and leafy...
