When a couple has been trying for over 12 months to have a baby, they are classified as "infertile". This doesn't mean that they can't have a baby at all, but that they are having problems with conceiving a child at all.
We were told even before we started to try to have a family that we shouldn't wait until the last minute because we would have problems because of having PCOS, which is PolyCysic Ovarian Sydrome. Check out more about PCOS here.
We have had a long and very difficult struggle with PCOS. Between blood tests, medications and exams, its been a long and difficult struggle to even get pregnant (which we have done), let alone carry a child full term (we are still working on this one but determined!).
