The band I worked with had hired a guy with a huge PA and truck so we doubled up with Cottons band because he had some local gigs. What it really came down to was we did the equipment and opened up his show. It was a lot of fun to watch such a great showman really get a crowd going. I had watched Jimmy play with Muddy and on his own for years so to get to know him a bit was a thrill. And then to lift his amp around..well....
