Bill Payne and Richie Hayward
Working in the studio with Richie was like a dream come true. I have listened to Little Feat since their very first album and have admired their music and most of all the drumming of Richie Hayward.
We were invited to play on an interesting CD project for a local producer,Lance Anderson. It was called...2B3... 2 Hammond B3 organs were set up in the studio and 5 organists were grouped on different tunes. The first session was Mike Fonfara, Rob Gusevs, Doug Riley, and Denis Keldie. At the second session Richard Bell and Bill Payne were added. The rhythm section was Richie on drums and Denis Pendrith on bass. I played guitar on both sessions along with a number of other Toronto guitarists. I really am a big fan of the B3 and this was so much fun.
