CANDOLIM BEACH

ACCOMMODATION:
Though not as developed as Calangute, there is still a large variety of hotels, cottages and beach resorts. In Sequeira Vaddo there are rooms in local houses. To the south Candolim stretches into Sinquerim and here the prices and quality increase considerably.
RESTAURANTS:
Again the choice is wide, especially on the beach. Between Sinquerim and Baga there are approximately 130 beach restaurants and, on the roads, another 200 or so. Bob’s Inn, on the north side of Candolim, is a well-known travellers’ hangout. Apparently Lord Lucan was spotted here.
PLACES OF INTEREST:
The Shantaduerga Temple,
excursions on an Indian ‘Dhow’
TRANSPORT:
There are regular buses from Calangute to both Aguada and Panaji stopping in Candolim. The Indian ‘Dhow’ sometimes makes the trip to the Anjuna Fleamarket.
DISTANCES:
Calangute 2km, Aguada 2km,
Panaji 13km, Mapusa 13km.
