Xiaotung and Niki become a pair of very good friends, after filming together in "Feel 100% - The Love Song of Winter". Xiaotung praised that Niki has good pontential and charm, while Niki praised Xiaotung that he is very good looking guy. In the drama, they have body contacts with each other, leaning together with each other. But they do not worry that there will be any rumours between them, because their relationship is just as good as buddies.

Xiaotung acted in a stage play with Patrick and Candy. In this stage play, Xiaotung was acting as Candy's Ex-Boyfriend while Patrick as Candy's present boyfriend. There was a scene that Xiaotung knocked Patrick with his shoulder, and this scene is being described as a hint of the recent tiff happened between Shawn Yue and Edison Chen.

When Xiaotung is being asked about this, he said, "No, I was not hinting on anything, the action just because i can't remember the play properly." The reporter continued asking him whether he was representing Shawn or Edison?, "No, Not anyone, it's just a coincidence.", said by Xiaotung.

As the Shawn and Edison's happen that night, Xiaotung sitted beside Shawn and consoled him, the reporter asked what did he say to Shawn, Xiaotung said, "Nothing, it was just a normal chat between friends. This is not my business, so I won't interfere in this. This kind of things I have been experiencing for 6 years, and I have seen these too much, sometimes will just treat it as a joke, no need to take it to heart."

Xiaotung was being asked again about Cecilia Cheung is now having a boyfriend who is an artiste with good looking, did Xiaotung call her up and congrat to her? Xiaotung said that this is not his business and he had already answered these question a lot of times, he won't answer it again and again. He thinks that, it's not a big matter that does Cecilia have a boyfriend, and it is normal when friends are still contacting with each others.
