Goldorak was bred in France by Rene Tixier. He was brought to the U.S. by Nancy Dorsey of LeChasse PBGVs. Goldorak has the distinction of being one of the only black and tan PBGVs in the U.S. The color is acceptable in the PBGV's native country of France, but it is still controversial here as the U.S. standard states the color shall be "white with any combination of lemon, orange, black, tricolor or grizzle markings."
