A BSB Fan's Dream Come True Chapter 36 One week had past so quickly, and Emilie was nervous, excited, but mostly saddened because she was leaving the family she had bonded with for over a month. She was going to miss everything, from the rush of fans to the late night chats on the tourbus. It was now July 26th, and over fifteen tourdates had fluctuated over the tour. They were now in Ottawa, the last night of Emilie's presence on the tour. Brandy had gone home, and she missed her family terribly. The show had just come to an end, and Emilie was waiting for everyone backstage. She felt tears come close to her eyes, as she wished this evening had never begun. Everything was over. The tour was over for her, and in ways, she felt that she was going to lose the closeness she had treasured with everyone. "Hi," Nick said, as he came out of his dressing room. He was wearing cargo pants with a navy blue Nike shirt, Adidas sneakers, and an orange hat backwards. He saw the tears in Emilie's eyes, and without a single doubt in his mind, he pulled her into his arms. He held her for a long time, and allowed her to get her anxieties out. He hated to see her so upset. "Nick, I can't do this," Emilie whispered into his ear. "I can't say goodbye." "Em, you don't have to," Nick reminded her. "We'll always be there for you. You are never going to get rid of us." "I know, I know," Emilie forced a quick smile, as she saw AJ, Brian, and Howie emerge from their dressing rooms. They offered her supportive smiles, as they saw tears dripping down her flushed face. "Ready to party Em?" AJ wanted to know, and she nodded slightly. She didn't actually want to party. She wanted to fall asleep and awake in a dreamworld, where she wasn't leaving the tour. A place where university didn't exist, and a place where she could always be around the people she most cherished. The reality was though, that she was travelling to a distant land where she was going to meet tons of school work, a place where she didn't know anyone but her roommate briefly, a place where she would be alone. Loneliness has always been the worse fear in her life, and now it was coming true. "Sure am," she lied, as Nick clutched her hand. "Where are we going to?" "The Hyatt," Howie answered, as they all exchanged quick smiles, except for Emilie. She was miserable. Nick's heart went out to her. She was his best friend, and he felt like he was losing her too. They walked into the limo, and within a few minutes, they arrived at the Hyatt. She noticed a lot of unfamiliar cars, and a few familiar ones. She allowed Nick to lead her out of the limo, and into the front lobby. There was no fans in sight, and this relieved her. "It's right this way," Brian told them, and Emilie followed them sullenly. They walked towards a ballroom, as Brian knocked on the door, and they went into the room- "Surprise!" a room full of people shrieked, and Emilie stood back, as she glanced around at everyone. She saw her parents, Brandy, Jordan, and her older brother Mike. She saw her best friends Oceane, Marnie, Alexis, Ariale, and YeoSung. She saw 'N Sync and Britney, but she saw 98 Degrees. She looked at them in awe. "Am I dreaming?" Emilie asked Nick. "No!" Nick laughed. "This is our special gift to you. We love you Em!" "I love you too Hon," Emilie replied, and Emilie hugged her for the millionth time. He kissed her lightly on the lips, as everyone cheered loudly. "Did you five arrange all of this?" Emilie asked Nick, AJ, Howie, Brian, and Kevin. "Of course," AJ replied. "I'm the party organizer of the year." "You're also one of the nicest and sweetest guys I know," Emilie told him, and AJ enveloped her in a hug. She felt tears come to her eyes, at all the memories she had shared with him, from the moment he met Oceane to his break up with Ariale. AJ had come to talk to her about advice and she saw him as a big brother. "I never cry, but you are making," AJ told her, and she smiled brightly, as she turned to Brian. "Em, remember that day before prom?" Brian reminded her, and she nodded. How could she have forgotten? That was the moment Brian promised that he and all the guys would always be there for her. "Well, I meant it." "I know you did," Emilie whispered, and Brian gave her a quick squeeze. "I love ya Bri. You are one of my adopted big bros." "You're the little sister I never had," Brian replied, and he gave her a quick kiss on the cheek. "Leighanne sends her love." "You guys are awesome together," Emilie smiled. "You're meant for each other." "Thanks," Brian told her, as she turned to see Jordan and Brandy rushing at her. "Sissie!" Brandy shrieked, and she jumped into her awaiting arms, and Jordan jumped into Brian's. "Brian!" "Em, I just wanted to thank you for all the advice you gave me about Kelly and for everything with Dalilia," Howie told her. "I really appreciate it. I think things are really going to work out with Dalilia." "No prob Howie," Emilie replied. "I was more then happy to help you. Thanks for listening to me too." Howie gave her a big hug, and kissed her cheek. "I guess I'm the last one," Kevin told her. "Thanks for doing my laundry." "No prob Kev," Emilie laughed, and he gave her a big hug. "I'm going to miss you five like crazy." "Not as much as we are going to miss you!" Howie promised her. "Hey! You'd better go say hi to your guests, especially 98*." "98*, ah! Who arranged that?" Emilie wanted to know, as she glanced at them. She loved 98 Degrees. They were beyond her favourite group, besides BSB and 'N Sync of course. "We all did," Kevin replied. "We wanted to make this a night you would never forget!" "I will never forget you guys!" Emilie replied, and they all have her a group hug. She felt someone take her hand, and she looked down to see Jordan beaming up at her. "Hi!" he said excitedly, and wrapped his arms around her waist. "I missed you more then cherry pie!" "Same here buddy," Emilie answered, kissing the top of his head. "Hi Mom. Hey Dad!" Her mom had tears in her eyes, as she wrapped her arms around her eldest daughter. Her dad gave her a hug as well, and she turned to see her grandmother. "Hello Emilie," Grandma told her, and then they had another round of hugs. "Emilie! I want to meet Britney!" Jordan shrieked, and Emilie smiled. "Come on," Emilie told him, and they walked over towards the table where Britney was sitting with TJ, Andre, Charissa, and Tanya. They seemed to be enjoying each other's company quite well. "Hi Em!" they all said in chorus, as she stopped at their table. "Hey everyone! Having fun?" she asked them, and they cheered. She laughed and turned to Britney. "Brit, this is my little brother Jordan. He has a crush on you and wanted me to introduce you to him." "Aw," chimed in Tanya and Charissa. "He's so sweet!" Jordan hid behind Emilie, with a shy smile on his face. "Hello Jordan," Britney winked at him. "Come here and sit beside me!" "Okay!" he answered quickly, and jumped on the chair beside her. Emilie left him there with them, and headed over to 'N Sync, and was determined say goodbye to them without too many tears. Justin saw her coming over, and the tears came pouring down once more. "Hey Em," Justin smiled at her, and he gave her a big hug. "We're going to miss ya!" "I'm going to miss you all too," Emilie replied. "I just wanted to say goodbye now, so we could have fun tonight!" "Of course Em," Joey winked at her, and gave her a hug. "Joey, I love your hair!" she complimented him, observing his hot pink locks for the first time. "Thanks," Joey answered, and he kissed her cheek. "Oh Lance. Say goodbye to Em." "You're leaving now?" Lance wanted to know, as he set down the wine cooler he was drinking. "Not yet," Emilie laughed. "I'm going to miss you Lance." "Same here," Lance told her, and he gave her a hug. "I'm glad things worked out the way they did. Nick and you are destined to be together, and Danielle and I are." "Me too Lance," Emilie smiled. "I feel bad about what happened in Florida in January." "No hard feelings here," Lance smiled kindly at her. "Have fun at university and remember to call us." "I promise," she promised, and he patted her back. "JC, bye!" "Bye sweetheart," JC replied, and he gave her a hug. "Thanks for introducing me to Elvira. She's awesome!" "No prob," she replied, and she turned to Chris. Her and Chris hadn't gotten really close on the tour, but she was going to miss him. "Bye Chris!" she told him, and he gave her a hug for the first time. "Nice meeting you Em," he told her. "Good luck!" "Thanks," she smiled, as Joey took her hand. "You have to dance with me first," he told her, as the DJ started up the music. Out pumped "That Thing" by Lauryn Hill, and the whole place seemed to come to life. "Joey, I am a horrible dancer!" Emilie complained to him. "I love this song though." "I love Lauryn Hill too," Joey smiled. "You aren't that bad. I think you are better then AJ!" "Don't ever let him hear that," Emilie warned him, but there was a twinkle in her eyes. "AJ would be so mad!" The song ended soon after, and she thanked Joey for the dance. She headed over to her friends, and noticed they were all kind of sitting there, not dancing. "Hello guys!" Emilie told them cheerfully. "How come Joey and you are getting so close?" Oceane asked, a sly smile creeping across her face. "Oceane, don't even go there!" Emilie answered cheerfully. "Joey is purely a friend." "Don't listen to her Em," Alexis hit Oceane's arm. "So, how are you? None of us, besides Ariale and Oceane, have seen you in a while." "I'm okay Lex," Emilie told her, sitting down beside Marnie. "It's been hard, that last few days. I hate saying goodbye." "How are you and Nick?" she wanted to know, and a sparkle came to her eyes. "Great!" she answered. "I'm going to miss him a lot." "How are you?" Emilie asked her. "Surviving," Alexis answered. "My job kind of sucks." "I'm glad I don't work," Emilie responded. "I'll probably get a job at school." "Em, obviously you don't have to work," Oceane pointed out. "Your boyfriend is a millionaire." "Oceane, you are too much!" Emilie smiled. "Nick is my boyfriend purely for love. I never take his money." "Good for you Em," Ariale spoke up for the first time. "Hey, AJ looks really good. Did he talk about me at all?" "He said things weren't working out," Emilie told her. "I know," Ariale nodded in agreement. "I miss him though. Maybe you can tell him I do Em." "Tell him yourself Ari," Oceane told her. "Here he comes!" "Hello ladies!" AJ smiled at them, which was mostly directed at Ariale. "How are you all doing this evening?" "Everything is just peachy," Oceane replied. "Guess what Bone? You're looking at the world's freshest petite model!" "That's great O," AJ winked at her. "Any interesting ads?" "Victoria Secret," Oceane answered huskily, and Alexis groaned. "Oceane, you are too much!" Alexis laughed, swatting her arm. "AJ, how's everyone?" "Great Alexis," AJ answered, and he turned towards Emilie. "Hey Em. I was sent over to recruit you for 98 Degrees and one blond hair guy that is missing you like crazy." "I miss him already too!" Emilie answered, as she stood up. "Anyone coming with me?" "I will!" Ariale quickly volunteered. "Hey AJ." "Hi Ariale," AJ told her politely. "How have you been doing?" "Absolutely wonderful!" she replied forcefully. "You?" "Fine," AJ replied, and he smiled at her. Emilie followed AJ, and she saw 98 Degrees talking to the guys. She stared at them in awe, and shyly walked towards Nick. "Em, you're blushing!" Nick teased her, as he wrapped his arm around her. "Nick, I love 98 Degrees!" she whispered to him. "Just say hi!" Nick whispered back, or Emilie gave him a pleading glance. "Okay, I'll introduce you!" "Okay," Emilie answered faintly. "Jeff, Drew, Justin, and Nick, this is my girlfriend Emilie," Nick introduced them. "Hey Emilie, nice to meet you," Jeff Timmons told her, and he shook her hand. Emilie just smiled, and realized how wonderful everyone was to her...*I have some sad news. This is the last chapter in my story. I simply decided that I couldn't really add more chapters because I am running out of ideas for it! :o)! Anyway, don't worry. You aren't going to miss out on Emilie and her adventures anymore. I have started a new story, sort of a sequel to this one. I am not sure of the title yet maybe Just kidding. It may be that title though! LOL! Anyway, I'll start the new story soon and it'll be about Emilie's adventures at university with her new cast of friends including Billie Chadwick, Hana Cheung, and Alecia Shadows. I can't give much information on these characters yet, except for Billie because you've already met her. Billie will most likely be Emilie's closest friend because she is her roommate!
