Subject: Nick's Nightmare...LOL...;op
Date: Thursday, October 7th, 1999
Hello Sexy! J/K. What's up? I miss you and so does everyone else, especially Nick. He keeps pounding his head against his pillow and waits to hear your voice, but only hears Kevin snoring! ;P. Anyway, so, how's College life? I hope you are getting straight A's. Einstein would be proud. Tour has been going pretty well. There were a few incidents.Let's see, Howie tried unsuccessfully to straighten his curly hair, but it looked like a frizzball. We all had fun making fun of his fro all night. I decided to die my hair bright red. It looks like your hair, nah, more brighter. Maybe I should try your hair color soon Em. Nah, forget it. So, I'd better go. Howie's looking over my shoulder and tells me to tell you hello. He says his hair wasn't that bad! Sure Sweet D! ;P. Okay, better go! Catch ya later, BONE 69 j/k
I laughed out loud, as I read my latest letter from AJ. I loved getting e-mails from all the guys, and they never failed to e-mail me back every day. I was sitting in my wonderful dorm room, and had just finished reading Chapter 5 of my biology textbook. I had a lecture in about an hour, and had stayed up late last night, talking with Billie. Billie was still sleeping, even though it was almost noon. I learned not to wake Billie from her sleep, because she would probably freak out. Believe me, it's happened. Billie goes to bed late, and wakes up late! Oh well. She's still an awesome person. We clicked so well back in August, and now, are barely inseparable.
I clicked off my computer, and decided to do my hair. I pulled it back into a french braid and added some rhinestone clips to it. Okay, you're probably itching to know, so I guess I'll tell you. Nick and I AREN'T dating anymore. No, we didn't have a big fight. Sheri didn't come into town, and Nick didn't cheat on me again. Last month, we had a fight. Not a big one, but one that was hard to deal with. We decided to mutually end our relationship, and realized, we are both much happier now than we were. Nick has a new girlfriend now anyway named Mandy, who I haven't met, but I realize she's probably pretty nice. Nick is still my best friend though. He still calls and e-mails me often, and I still love him, not love him, but love him as a brother.
Billie is trying to set me up with her brother, but I am not interested in dating anyone right now. I don't understand how guys can bounce back into a relationship within a few days. I can't. I still have loneliness etched all over me, but, I am not going to get serious with some sweet guy and then end of breaking up with him. That is just wrong. AJ is single now, but he has been on some dates. Kevin has a girlfriend, but I don't know about her. Howie and Dalilia are still going strong. Yay! I think they are so cute together. Brian and Leighanne. Ditto! You know that! I haven't heard from Britney, and probably won't. 'N Sync, well, Justin e-mails me all the time. He wants to get together. I miss him too. I don't know what's going to happen there. We'll see.
"Emilie! Good morning!" Billie chimed in, as she stretched. I turned and looked at her, and couldn't understand how someone looked so good, even after just waking up. Billie is so beautiful. She has raven black hair that so long, and naturally coloured violet eyes. She is so thin too, I think a size 4, and is so tiny. She is so nice though. We clicked instantly when I came, and now, we talk about everything. She doesn't care that I know the Backstreet Boys and 'N Sync, and when AJ, Kevin, and Nick helped me move in, she never even twitched an eyebrow at them. She's so cool.
"Hey Billie," I answered smiling, as I put on some mascara. "Did you sleep well?"
"Absolutely perfect," she laughed, bouncing out of bed. "Em, you need a man."
"Billie, no I don't," I replied, turning to my lipstick. "I am not ready for another relationship right now."
"Come on Em," Billie insisted, sitting down me on her computer chair. "Nick and you are so over. You need a nice young man in you life! What about me brother? He thinks you're fine!"
"And he's also 25," I reminded her. "That is much too old for me."
"Isn't Howie 25?" she wanted to know, as she went to her closet. Billie is the most clothes crazed person I know, well, besides AJ.
"Howie is like a big brother to me," I said, and turned towards her. "Billie, look, I am happy being single."
"Yeah right!" she laughed, and pulled out cargo pants and a light blue sweater set. I gave her a Look.
"Okay, maybe you are happy, but Em, you are a beautiful girl. You can get any guy!"
"Thanks," I told her, and she replied by giving me a quick hug. She headed for the showers, and I headed to class. Carleton is a beautiful university. It's so tiny, and everyone around her seems pretty nice. I have had a few incidents where major BSB fans have recognized me. One was weird. One of the cool people I have met in the dorms came to move in and brought her little teenaged twin sisters with her. They stared at me when I introduced myself to their sister and then proceeded to follow me around the campus all day. Finally, I told them, yes I was Emilie, and no, Nick and I are not dating anymore. The next day, everyone knew we had broken up. Oh well. They were actually pretty nice kids.
"Em! Hey!" said my residence advisor, Alecia Rance, and I waved and smiled. Alecia is pretty cool too. I walked about half a kilometre and ended up at Warren Hall, where my lecture was being held. I walked through the door, and walked right into someone who was coming the other way.
"Ow!" I whined, as my psychology textbook and my binder went opposite ways. I felt myself go backwards, and I landed on the wet pavement on my butt. I cried in pain, as I saw a hand thrust in front of me to help me up. I looked up to see the most amazingly, handsome man I had ever seen. He had curly brown hair that was a little long, and amazing hazel eyes. He was well-built, and he had the most cutest dimples I had ever observed.
"Sorry," he apologized, as he picked up my binder and textbook for me. "Are you okay?"
"I'm okay," I muttered, as I felt my cheeks blush red. "I'm sorry too."
"I'm the klutz," he laughed, and already his laugh was so adorable. "I'm Drew Winters."
"Hi, I'm Emilie Parker," I introduced myself, as we strolled into Warren Hall. "Are you in psychology as well?"
"Sure am," he winked, and I melted. "I always ended up in lectures with the most beautiful women."
"You must be blind," I kidded, and he winked again. I cringed excitedly. Maybe I was capable of finding someone to love more then I imagined.
"Emilie, aren't you with Nick anymore?" asked some random fan, and I sighed.
"No, we broke up," I answered flatly.
"Well, you shouldn't be with someone so fast," she snapped at me. "Nick is better than you!"
"Geez, it never ends," I sighed, as we sat down beside each other in the lecture.
"Nick? How come she knows your name too?" Drew wanted to know.
"I used to date Nick Carter from the Backstreet Boys," I told Drew. "He is now my best friend and I am really good friends with all of them. Nick and I just broke up."
"Really? Wow!" Drew breathed, and he grinned at me. "Well, I'm glad you broke up."
"Thanks, I think," I answered, as more students started filing in.
"Drew, do you have a girlfriend?"
"My girlfriend just cheated on me," Drew told me. "She's a model. She's in Gap commercials. Maybe you've seen her."
"Hi Drew!" said some high-pitched girl, and I turned to see a beautiful girl with curly blond hair and blue eyes. For some reason, she reminded me of Sheri White too much.
"Hi Kelsey," he sighed, and she looked at me expectedly.
"So Drew, going for the fat chicas now?" she snapped, and she looked at me, as if I was supposed to move over or something.
"Kelsey, you're rude," Drew defended me, and I rolled my eyes. Catty chicks were only supposed to be in high school I thought. I guess some of them leak into university as well. Anyway, I moved over so I wouldn't get into a fight with Kelsey. Drew seemed pretty cheesed off, and kept giving me apologetic glances. Kelsey cozied right up to him, and I choose to ignore him. I looked to see a girl had sat on the other side of me, and thought she looked pretty nice.
The professor soon came in, and everyone seemed to quiet down. The first impressions of the prof are always so interesting. This one was more creative, then the other professors I have encountered. He came in and had curly hair that was streaked with gray. He was wearing jeans, a red plaid shirt, and a cowboy hat, and I heard a few snickers around me. The lecture was very intriguing and soon it was finished. I decided that was going to be a fun class. I walked out, excited that it was Friday and I had no more classes. Drew caught up with me outside the class and asked about my Friday night plans.
"I'm not sure what I'm doing," I told him, as we streamed onto the lawn. The breeze caused my arms to tremble with cold.
"Oh, cause, there's a keg party at Sigma house," he told me, and I smiled. I hated kegs and partying. Billie was the partier, and every weekend she was at a big bash. I always stayed in and watched a movie with the other party poopers in my dorm. We were one in a million, but I honestly didn't care.
"Drew, I'm not really into keg parties," I admitted, and I saw him raise his eyebrows.
"So, what do you on Friday and Saturday nights?" he wanted to know, as we walked along the sidewalk.
"I study, read, or watch a movie," I answered, looking up at the sun. "I'm very boring."
"Oh," Drew looked taken back. "I like boring women."
"Are you trying to flirt with me?" I smiled at him, and he blushed. "I'm a very bad flirter."
"I guess my charm doesn't work on everyone," Drew kidded, and I laughed. "Well, we don't have to attend the keg party. We could just chill or something."
"That sounds nice Drew, but I have to see what Billie is doing first," I told him quickly. I sort of got nervous about spending time with another guy. I know, I sound weird, but I had just gotten out of an awesome relationship, and I wasn't ready for a new one. I don't think Drew noticed my insecurity because he just nodded at my response.
"That's good Emilie," he told me, and I searched his eyes to see if he was being genuine. "I have to go because I have a lab. I'll talk to ya later, okay?"
"Yeah sure," I smiled, and he waved, and I waved back. I walked back to my dorm alone, and noticed Billie was gone to class already. I collapsed on my bed, and boredly checked the time. It was almost two, and I felt my stomach rumble. This weekend was going to be very boring because I realized I didn't have that much homework anyway. I looked across the room, and it hit me. Billie was going over to Winnipeg to meet with her sister for the entire weekend. I sighed heavily, and wondered what I was going to do for the weekend. Maybe I should have spent some time with Drew. The phone rang as I sulked, and I picked it up.
"Hello?" I sighed into the phone, as I heard tons of voices in the background.
"Hi sexy," said a very familiar voice.
"Bone! Hey! How are you?" I shrieked, and I heard AJ laugh. "Why are you calling me now?"
"Well, I'm calling because we have a huge favour to ask you," AJ replied. "Oh, I'm good by the way. How are you?"
"Depressed," I told him honestly. "I have nothing to do this weekend. Billie's going to Winnipeg to see her sister."
"Well, you can come down to New York then," AJ told me, and I got excited. "We have this crappy promotions party to go to where they display new talent, and the guys were wondering if you wanted to come."
"Sure, that sounds fun!" I told AJ. "Wait a minute, how do I get there?"
"The plane ticket is on the way," AJ responded. "Howie and I are going to meet you at the airport."
"Oh, Nick can't?" I said uncertainly.
"Oh, he's with Mandy for the day," AJ answered quietly, and I swallowed softly. "Hey, but, you can hang with Sweet D. and I, right?"
"Sure, yeah, sounds fun," I told him, trying to sound cheerful. I felt my stomach turn in knots, and I knew one thing for sure. I missed Nick, and I wouldn't allow myself to admit it.
************************************************
Billie and I ended up heading to the airport together, but the ironic part was that Drew had come to my dorm room to find me. He wanted to know if Billie and I were doing anything together, and I was overwhelmed by him actually coming to see me. Billie pinched me hard when I was talking to Drew, insisting I be more flirtatious, but I was too confused. Drew seemed hurt I was going to be the big Apple, but I missed the guys a lot, and I wanted to see them. Billie understood, and wished me fun. I knew she was going to have fun in Winnipeg as well.
I arrived into La Guardia Airport early, and walked onto the platform. I was nervous and excited about seeing the guys. I often wondered if our relationships were going to change since we had all moved on with our lives. I was at school, and they were always doing a concert, working on the next album, or just hanging around. I walked into the airport, and felt absorbed by a mob of travelers. I nervously looked around for AJ and Howie, and if it wasn't for AJ's silver cowboy hat, I wouldn't have found them.
"AJ! Howie! Hey!" I yelled to them, and they came rushing over to me, without bodyguards.
"Em, hey," Howie told me, and he swept me into a big hug. I felt tears come to my eyes, as AJ gave me a hug as well, and Howie took my suitcase from me.
"Thanks so much for coming to get me," I told them, as AJ put an arm around me as we walked out of the airport. "How are you all doing?"
"Good, but we missed you," AJ told me, as we headed towards the parking garage. I had only brought a duffel bag since I was only staying for two nights. "How are you?"
"I'm good," I lied. I was depressed, and I wondered if they noticed.
"How's university?" Howie asked, as we headed to AJ's silver Pathfinder, and he opened the hatch, and placed my bag in it. Howie insisted I get the front seat after we argued for a while, and I took it.
"It's a lot of work," I admitted to Howie.
"Any new men?" AJ asked me, and I blushed. There was no way I was going to tell them about Drew. What was going to tell them? Oh, I just met this sexy guy named Drew and we were supposed to have a date tonight, but I'm still in love with Nick, so I never went with him. That would sound wonderful.
"No," I answered quickly, and AJ gave me a half smile. "How's Nick?"
"Good," Howie answered from the backseat.
"Does he know I'm coming?" I asked them, and I saw AJ cringe.
"Um, no," AJ told me, and I got worried. "Well, we haven't seen him. He's been with Mandy, a lot."
"I guess he doesn't miss me then," I pointed out, and AJ cringed again.
"Forget it. Nick has the right to have a new girlfriend. I am just acting like a big baby."
"Em, no, he is just busy," Howie assured me, and I felt tears come to my eyes.
"How's Dalilia?" I changed the subject quickly.
"Great!" Howie told me. "Em, we know you miss Nick. It's okay too."
"No, it's not," I answered back. "Nick is my ex, and I have to accept we broke up." AJ put a hand on my shoulder, and squeezed it comfortingly. I turned away, and was determined not to let them see me cry.
"Amanda and I are back together," AJ wanted me to know, and I turned around excitedly.
"Really? Wow! That's awesome!" I told him happily. "Amanda is so nice. You guys are so good together."
"I know, she's my panda," AJ told me, and I saw him get a dreamy expression across his face.
"Everything is going so well for you guys," I told them. "D, you and Dalilia, Brian and LeighAnne, Kevin and Kristen, AJ and Amanda, and Ni-ick, and um...Mandy."
"Nobody's single anymore," AJ added. "Except you Em."
"Yeah, except me," I answered quietly, as we pulled up to the Plaza Motel. "We're staying here?"
"Where else would we stay?" AJ smiled, as he went to get his car valet parked.
"Bone, hey man!" said a too familiar voice, and I turned to see Nick and Mandy. This was my first glance at them. Mandy was absolutely beautiful. She had long blond hair, big blue eyes, and was almost as tall as Nick. She was wearing capri's and a cinnamon red tube top. Nick looked good too. He was wearing Nike shorts, and an Adidas t-shirt. He had a black hat on backwards.
"Hi Nick and Mandy," AJ told them. "How are you?"
"Great," Nick told him. "Where did you go?"
"To pick up someone at the airport," AJ answered uncomfortably.
"Who?" Mandy asked innocently. I didn't know whether to hide in the Jeep, and walk over and introduce myself.
"Emilie," AJ told them, and I saw Nick's eyes widen in shock.
"Emilie, Nick's ex?" Mandy wanted to know, and AJ nodded. "Oh."
"Where is she?" Nick asked anxiously, and I decided to make my grand entrance. I was determined to be nice, and greet both of them with kindness. I had no reason to dislike Mandy, and Nick was a close friend of mine anyway.
"Hi Nick," I smiled at him. "Hey Mandy. I'm Emilie. Nice to meet you."
I gave her my hand, and she shook it, nodding. She didn't really smile, and I could understand how weird it was for her boyfriend's ex-girlfriend to be so nice to her.
"Hey Em," Nick smiled at me, and I didn't know whether we should hug or just stand there smiling. "How are you?"
"Good thanks," I returned the smile. "How are you?"
"Nick's great," Mandy put in. "Honey, aren't we going to get lunch? I am so starved!"
"Sure," Nick nodded, as she took his arm protectively. "I'll see you later I guess Em. Bye Bone." They walked away, and hailed a cab.
"That was weird," I commented to AJ.
"You handled it fine," AJ assured me, and I gave him a weak smile, as Howie came over to us.
"Thanks," I responded, and followed them towards the entrance of the motel. My first impressions of Mandy were okay. I thought she seemed pretty nice, and I was glad Nick was glad to see me.
"I forgot something!" said Nick was once more, as he streamed past us. "Mandy's going to kill me."
"Nick has it bad," Howie commented. "So, Em, no new men in your life?"
"Not really," I told Howie. "There probably won't be any for a while."
"Hello! Where did you two go? We were looking for you!" said Brian, and I turned to see him and LeighAnne.
"To get me B-Rok," I told him, and he smiled at me. "Surprise!"
"Hey there Em," Brian told me, and he enveloped me in a big hug, as LeighAnne beamed at us. "You know LeighAnne right?"
"Of course!" I told him. "Hello LeighAnne. It's nice to see you again."
"Come here, we are now like sisters!" LeighAnne insisted and she gave me a big hug too. "How's university life?"
"It's alright," I answered. "How's your new movie?"
"Great!" LeighAnne replied enthusiastically. "The premiere in LA is next month. You should come."
"Sure, that sounds like fun," I smiled.
"Oh Em, I have to ask you something," LeighAnne told me. "No boys allowed!" LeighAnne pulled me aside, and smiled.
"What's up?" I asked.
"Well, Amanda, Mandy, and I were going to go to a broadway show tonight," she informed me. "Want to come?"
"Sure LeighAnne, but won't that be weird?" I told her. "I mean, I don't think Mandy is too crazy about me."
"Mandy will come around," LeighAnne assured me. "Besides, Amanda and I want you to come along!"
"Sure, I'll go," I told her. "Wait a minute, isn't the promotions party tonight?"
"Yeah, but we can go there after," LeighAnne answered. "Do you have anything to wear?"
"Yeah, I brought a dress," I told her, and she smiled again.
"Awesome, this is going to be so much fun!" LeighAnne cried, and we walked back to the guys. Brian put his arm around LeighAnne, as AJ and Howie checked me into a room beside theirs. Brian and LeighAnne waved goodbye, as AJ announced he had to go meet Amanda. He promised he would see me tonight, and went off to meet her somewhere. Howie received a phone call on his cell phone, and left me alone at my room. I walked in and was astonished at how nice it was. I collapsed on the bed, and felt the warmth of the bed crawl all over me.
I really hoped this weekend was going to be fun. It was hard to come back into the lives of everyone and realize all the changes that had happened. I felt like an outsider now, someone who was coming into the lives of the BSB's for the first time. I know they are sweet, and just want me to be happy, but now I feel like I don't belong here. I'm kind of the ex who everyone knows about. Don't get me wrong, they have all been great to me, but I wish things could stay the same as they were before. I heard a knock on my door and cringed at who it could be. I looked through the peephole and saw Nick standing there. I wondered why he was at my door and not with Mandy. I opened the door and was greeted with a smile.
"Hey Em," Nick told me, and I stepped aside from the door to let him in.
"Nick, aren't you supposed to be with Mandy?" I asked him quickly. The last thing I needed was for her to be pissed at me.
"Sort of," he answered.
"Well, go with her Nick," I instructed him. "I don't want her mad at me. That is your girlfriend!"
"Em, I wanted to say hi though," Nick answered, looking at me hurt. "You sound like you don't want to see me."
"Of course I want to see you," I said. "But Nick, Mandy is waiting for you."
"Yeah I know," Nick answered sighing.
"Nick!" I cried. When Nick was stubborn, he wouldn't listen to anyone. "You have to go see her!"
"I will," Nick promised standing up. "But if I do, do you promise to spend tomorrow with me all day?"
"What about Mandy?" I pointed out. "Nick, you are a friend of mine, but you can't diss Mandy when I come to town."
"I'm not dissing her," Nick snapped back, and I stepped back. "Sorry Em. Look, I miss you and I want to spend time with you."
"Does Mandy understand that?" I wanted to know.
"Well, not really," Nick admitted. "Mandy doesn't understand how someone can be friends with their ex, but I told her, you are no more to me than an ex-girlfriend. You are my friend, maybe my best friend, and
I don't want to lose you."
"You'll never lose me Nick," I replied softly. "But, Mandy is more important then me. She is your girlfriend."
"You both are equally the same important to me," Nick reminded me. "Look Em, I know our break-up was crappy, and I know we both have feelings for each other, but I do still want to be close to you. You are the only one I can really talk to besides Brian. Just because we aren't going out, that doesn't mean we can't be as close as we were, when we were going out."
"Nick, whoever said I didn't want to still be your friend?" I asked him. "I'll always be your friend Nick."
"But the last few weeks, I've barely heard from you," Nick confronted me, and I blushed.
"I thought you were busy with Mandy," I concluded, and Nick shook his head. "Nick, maybe this friend thing won't work."
"What do you mean?" Nick asked, and I looked at him, knowing I was making the right decision.
"Maybe we shouldn't be friends anymore," I proposed, as we heard a knock on the door. Nick looked at me with sorrowful eyes, and I opened the door to reveal Mandy.
"Nick, what are you doing? You are taking forever!" Mandy said, coming into the room.
"I'm coming Hon," Nick told her, avoiding my eyes. Nick stomped out of my room angrily, and Mandy turned to look at me. "Emilie, what is going on?" she asked me.
"Nothing," I lied.
"Well, Nick is my boyfriend," she told me. "I don't understand how you guys can be friends anyway. You are ex's."
"I told Nick we shouldn't be friends anymore for your sake," I told her, and she looked at me with shocked eyes.
"Really? Oh, well, I mean...," I saw her become worried. "I'm sorry Emilie. I guess I have been kind of jealous of you and Nick."
"No-no, your behaviour is very understandable," I reassured her. "I think Nick and you are wonderful together. I just wish him and I could still be friends. I promise never to come between you both. Our relationship is definitely over. I would love to get know you better though."
"Really? Wow! You are just as nice as Nick keeps saying," Mandy gushed. "Nick?! Come here please!"
"No, Mandy, you come here," Nick snapped, as Mandy and I exchanged knowing glances. We both knew Nick was stubborn, and he wouldn't listen to anyone.
"No Frack, get your butt in here now!" Mandy snapped back, and Nick came into the room, and avoided my eyes.
"What?" he asked, slumping against the wall.
"Nick, I-," I told him, and he glared at me.
"Enemies don't talk, remember?!" he cried, and I felt tears rush in my eyes.
"Oh Nick, knock it off," Mandy told him. "Listen to her for goodness sakes."
"Nick, I'm sorry," I began, and I saw him listening to me. "I am confused. I-I don't want to become between you and Mandy, but she is willing to allow us to be friends. I hope we still can be."
"No Em, I want you still to be friends," Mandy smiled at me, and I smiled back.
"You're okay with this?" Nick asked her, and she nodded, as I saw tears come to his eyes. I felt some come to mine as well, and he hugged her, and kissed her on the mouth. "Em, what can I say? I feel like a jerk."
"You are not a jerk, Nick," I whispered softly, as tears streamed down my cheeks. "I was a jerk too."
"Come here Cheese," he told me, and I rushed into his arms. I looked up to see Mandy's reaction to our hug, and I could only see happiness in her eyes.
"How about that pizza?" Mandy suggested. "Want to come Em?"
"Sure!" I told them. "I'm really hungry. Airplane isn't exactly incredible." I heard my cell phone ring from my purse, and I went to pick it up.
"Hello?" I said, and I heard the phone crackling.
"Hello, Emilie?" said a male voice.
"Who's this?" I asked uncertainly.
"It's Joey!" they said, and I racked my brain for the answer, and the it hit me. Joey Fatone from 'N Sync.
"Joey! Hey! How are you?" I asked him.
"Good, how are you?" Joey replied.
"I'm great! Why are you calling me?" I asked him quickly.
"Justin gave me the number and I just wanted to see how you were," Joey answered.
"Well, thanks for calling," I said into the receiver. I gave Mandy and Nick a signal I was coming, and resorted to going near the window where I figured there would be better reception.
"I was wondering, want to get a bite to eat sometime?" Joey asked me, and I thought about this. Let's see. I wasn't ready for a relationship, or was I? Joey was a good friend, and maybe he was just being friendly.
This was weird.
"As friends?" I replied. I wasn't into playing games anymore. I just wanted a straight answer.
"Well, um...sure," Joey stammered, and I blushed.
"Joey, are you asking me out on a date?" I laughed, and Joey sighed.
"Would it be bad if I was?" he replied. "I do think you're hot Emilie."
"I think you're hot too," I told him. "But sweet too Joey. Okay, we can call it a date!"
"Sounds great," Joey told me. "I know your in NYC. How about we go out tomorrow night?"
"That would be wonderful," I told him. "See you around seven."
"Yeah, thanks," Joey sounded optimistic. "Bye Em. Have a nice night!"
"Thanks bye," I told him, and I put the phone back into my pouch. This is too weird. Now, Joey was asking me out and I actually said yes. Aw! I am so weird. I walked into the hallway and saw Mandy and Nick holding hands.
"Who was that?" Nick asked me.
"Joey," I told him, as I happily shut the door.
"Joey Fatone?" Nick repeated.
"Yeah!" I answered smiling.
"Did he ask you out?" Mandy asked, as we walked towards the elevators.
"Yes," I said slowly. "I don't know though. Oh, I am so confused!"
"Go for it Em!" Mandy smiled. "Right Nick?"
"Yeah, right," Nick nodded slightly, and we got onto the elevator. It whizzed down, as the events of the afternoon went through my head. Let's see the drama of my life...
1) Meet BSB and fall in love with Nick.
2) Date Nick for one year and then break up.
3) Meet Mandy and finally make up, become Nick's good friend
4) Accept a date with Joey, was I insane?
Oh well. I couldn't say no now. Besides, Joey's cute, sweet, respectful, flirty, outgoing...in other words...he's perfect!
*Hello there fans! You're probably reading this, saying, whoa. Lots of new stuff going on. I'm sure some of you are disappointed that Nick and Emilie broke up, but I think I like him more with Mandy anyway. I don't know if Nick is dating someone named Mandy, so don't take this as a realistic approach to Nick's real girlfriend. I don't know who any of the guys are dating, but choose just to include these characters as girlfriends. Once again, nothing in this chapter ever occurred. I have never met BSB or 'N Sync, and probably never will. I am just a writer, who enjoys writing, and I love to practise my hobby by writing fan fiction. Once again, thanks for all your love and support! Also, to everyone going to a concert, have fun! And to everyone who didn't get tickets, neither did I, so don't feel bad. There's always next year! :)
See ya later! Always, Emilie :)*
