We are very excited with our new house and we will be moving in on 30th September.
The house is positioned on the edge of a small village called St. Andre, about half an hour further towards the Pyrenees than we are now. On a map it is just North of a large town called St. Gaudens.
We have attached some shots of the house and the garden. We also have 9 acres of fields surrounding the house. This will be quite a difference from a shared garden and one or two plant pots in Blackheath.
In the main house we have a large kitchen, lounge and utility room downstairs with a large bathroom and two bedrooms upstairs.
Additionally we have a separate guest apartment under the same roof. This has two bedrooms, a shower room and a small kitchen/sitting room.
We are really looking forward to people coming to stay with us although some of our friends have warned us to be careful of people outstaying their welcome. As the dutch say "Friends are like fish. They only stay fresh for three days". Don't worry - I'm sure you lot are good for a week :-) |
