Bacchus - wild care-free spirit who would come out at night to dance with the fauns and dryads in The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. Joins Aslan, Lucy, and Susan in celebrating the resurrection of the tree people in Prince Caspian. Has wild hair and is accompanied by several wild-looking women, the Maenads. Also known as Bromios, Bassareus, and the Ram.
Bannister - known as big Bannister. One of several bullies who sees Aslan's back when Jill and Eustace return to England in The Silver Chair. Terrorized when he is whipped by Eustace and Caspian with the flat of a sword.
Bar, Lord - under King Lune of Archenland in The Horse and His Boy. Removed from office for embezzlement. Kidnapped Prince Cor of Narnia after falling into the pay of the Tisroc. Killed in battle with Lune but not before setting Cor and a knight to sea in a small boat.
Beaver, Mr. - befriends the four Pevensies and leads them to Aslan. Serves in the court of Cair Paravel under Peter the High King in (The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe)
Beaver, Mrs. - wife of Mr. Beaver. Helps guide the four Pevensies to Aslan in (The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe)
Bern - one of seven Lords sent to sea by Miraz in Prince Caspian. Purchases Caspian as a slave because of the familiarity of his face in The Voyage of theDawn Treader. Is made Duke of the Lone Islands by Caspian.
Black Knight - see Rilian
Boar - one of the Talking Beasts of Narnia in The Last Battle who bemoans the fact that Shift will not allow them to talk with Aslan face to face. Killed in battle by a Calormene spear.
Breehy-hinny-brinny-hoohy-hah - referred to as Bree throughout the book The Horse and His Boy. A Talking Horse of Narnia who is captured as a foal for service in the Calormene army under Anradin Tarkaan. Bree rescues Shasta from Anradin by carrying him north to Narnia. Is cured of a prideful spirit by Aslan, who confronts Bree in the middle of bragging. Bree later marries and visits Shasta, now Prince Cor of Archenland, frequently.
Bricklethumb - brother of Duffle the red dwarf. Bricklethumb and his brother Rogin serve the famished Shasta breakfast in The Horse and His Boy.
Bulgy Bear - the sleepy, paw-sucking leader of the Bulgy Bears in Prince Caspian. Is promoted to rightful position as Marshal of the Lists by King Caspian X.
Bull - a Talking Beast of Narnia who sides with Rishda Tarkaan in The Last Battle. Is killed by one of Jill's arrows in his eye.
Bulldog - one of the first Talking Beasts of Narnia. In The Magician's Nephew, he determines that Andrew Ketterly must be the same kind of beast as Digory and Polly.
