Major, Cholmondely - one of several bullies who sees Aslan's back when Jill and Eustace return to England in The Silver Chair. Terrorized when he is whipped by Eustace and Caspian with the flat of a sword.
Master Horse - one of the Talking Horses of Narnia. In The Last Battle, the Master Horse is freed by Tirian from enslavement by the Calormene invaders.
Maugrim (Fenris Ulf) - Captain of the Witch's secret police. Arrests Tumnus the Faun. Admits Edmund into the chambers of the White Witch in The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. Is killed by Peter when he attemps to kill Susan at the Hill of the Stone Table.
Mavramorn - one of seven Lords put to sea by Miraz in Prince Caspian. Mavramorn sailed to the Island of Ramandu where, with his shipmates Argoz and Revilian, he falls into a deep, enchanted sleep for seven years before being discovered by Caspian in The Voyage of theDawn Treader. Mavramorn returns to Narnia with Caspian.
Mentius - a faun. Sent by Patterwig to meet Caspian prior to the Council on Dancing Lawn in Prince Caspian.
Miraz - the usurper in Prince Caspian. Brother of Caspian IX of Narnia. Miraz wages war against Prince Caspian and engages in single combat with King Peter. Dies when stabbed in the back by the Lord Glozelle who takes revenge on Miraz for calling him a coward.
Mistress - teacher at an all boys school in Prince Caspian. She decides to leave her work and follow Aslan through the streets of Beruna during its liberation.
Mole - one of the first Talking Beasts of Narnia. In The Magician's Nephew, he 'proved' that the children are not lettuce, as the Rabbit suggested, because they can talk.
Mullugutherum - Warden of the Marches of Underland. Captures Jill, Eustace, and Puddleglum after their escape from Harfang in The Silver Chair. Delivers the three to the enchanted Rilian. Presumably is disenchanted when the Queen is killed and returns to his homeland of Bism.
