Air Mixes
When
some dragons mate they tend to create some rather peculiar offspring. On
this page you can see what you can expect from clutches.
In all there are three mixed breeds that have been spotted flying around
Lyria. It is unknown if others exist, or if they'll ever be seen.
If two mixed breeds breed (is this still making sense?) there will of course
be mixed breeds, but also any other dragon type that can have this type of
breed as an offspring. Not all dragons resulting from a mix breeding will be
mixed breeds by the way, there will be some dragons resembling the parents
as well.

1. Aura
Appearance:
Aura dragons are very colourful, with soft pastel
tinted wings and feathers in just about every colour of the rainbow. They
are known for their gracious flight, born on wings that seem to frail and
small to sustain them in flight and their abundant feathers. It isn't
strange that their genes stem from Butterfly and Electric mixes, with their
delicate looks and vibrant rainbow colours.
Personality: Aura dragons are very gentle
dragons with a love for showing of their colours. This isn't because they
are haughty or proud, they just tend to like extravagant behaviour
because it is fun to act out. As such, Auras love company and events with
large amounts of spectators.
Auras can bond to just about any bonder, as long as they will admire/notice
their colours. It would help though if said persons can take the 'oh my gosh,
I'm so pretty in this light' topic being mentioned every other conversation.

Raven
Appearance:
Raven Dragons are very dark in appearance. Their storm
blue skin is riddled with grey-white markings. Their light eyes look almost
white against their bodies, giving them a dangerous look. Their wings,
equally black are plentiful. They have two wings on their back, two wings
attached to their shoulders and small feathery wings covering their ears.
These three sets of wings pose a little problem in classifieing seeing as
only spirit dragons usually have more than one set of wings.
Personality: Raven Dragons are creatures
of the night. They seldomly fly during the day and usually don't go to
crowded places. They are rather stand-offish loners who want to see before
they believe. They are realistic, rationalistic, down-to-earth dragons with
a somewhat cold attitude. They can become quite passionate when the
situation calls for it though.

Hurricane
Appearance:
Hurricanes are large dragons with a light
cyan-coloured skin with clouded white patches. Their wings are usually dark
aqua in colour but sometimes become lighter or grey-tinted. Their wings,
headfin and tail consist of very flexible, soft material. They are ideally
suited for flying during heavy weather with strong winds. Being like this,
Hurricanes can only glide when the weather is calm. On the other hand are
they the only air dragons that can stay under water for a considerable
amount of time since their wings show a big similarity to fins.
Personality: Hurricane Dragons are as
turbulent as their skin pattern. They love to fly, race and bet. Nothing is
impossible and no dare will be left unanswered. This might seem like a fatal
weekness, but Hurricanes are quite sturdy built and any injuries they
sustain seem to heal fast. They are resilient, proud, innovative dragons
with a love for breaking records and limits.
