Fire Mixes
When some dragons mate they tend to
create some rather peculiar offspring. On this page you can see what you can
expect from clutches.
In all there are three mixed breeds that have been spotted in Lyria's
Northern Volcano. It is unknown if others exist, or if they'll ever surface.
If two mixed breeds breed (is this still making sense?) there will of course
be mixed breeds, but also any other dragon type that can have this type of
breed as an offspring. Not all dragons resulting from a mix breeding will be mixed
breeds by the way, there
will be some dragons resembling the parents as well.

1. Gypsy
Appearance:
Gypsy Dragons are antropo-morphic dragons with a
golden/tanned skin. They have dark wavy hair and deep blue eyes. They like
to wear bright coloured garments that often clash with their skin and
surroundings. The most noticeable about these dragons are their partly
transparent gold wings that bear some kind of pattern on them. These wings
are hardly ever used for flight (since they are quite fragile). Most often
the wings are part of elaborate dances and body rituals.
Personality: Gypsy Dragons are extravert,
daring dragons. They stick out no matter what they do and often get looked
down upon by the more 'serious' dragons and riders. In turn Gypsy Dragons
are notoriously prone to become suspicious of helping hands. Because of this
they mostly travel alone or in small bands of comrads they know they can
trust. They do not like rules or taboos and often break them as ostentably
as they can.

Ash (Death & Rebirth)
Appearance:
Ash Dragons can be grey, black or red in colour. They
have a set of powerful ridges on their back, serving to protect their
fragile transparent wings. These wings are patterned with flames. Every
dragon has an unique pattern which reveals sex, age, and place of birth to
other Ashes. When an Ash dragon gets seriously wounded their wings switch
colour to grey and finally turn to dust and slowly grow back. During this
time the Ash Dragon hibernates. Only direct hits to the heart and brain can
kill an Ash Dragon.
Personality: Ash Dragons are calm, loyal
and caring dragons. They bond very strongly to their rider and his loved
ones. They will protect all of those he/she considers kin with their life.
In times of peace and safety they are great with children and love to take
care of them. They are romantic dragons and will not let their bonds stay
single for long. Happiness they feel comes from family and friends.

Flare
Appearance:
Flare Dragons are firey all over. They have dark red
skin, orange coloured wings and yellow eyes. The most noticeable feature on
them are their explosion-esque hair and tail. Flare Dragons can breath fire
and are resitant to extremely high temperatures. On the downside they are
very fragile when it comes to cold. Any temperature below 20°C (70°F) will
cause them to lose power. When the temperature goes down even more they risk
dieing.
Personality: Flare Dragons are
hot-tempered dragons. They are impulsive and tactless. They dont know how to
hide their emotions and everything they think is displayed in their face and
actions. They are not ones to remain still when the situation seems wrong to
them.
