Spirit Mixes

When some dragons mate they tend to create some rather peculiar offspring. On this page you can see what you can expect from clutches.
In all there are three mixed breeds that have been spotted in the Heavens of Lyria. It is unknown if others exist, or if they'll ever be seen. Spirits are also the only dragons that can mate with all other Lyrian dragons. These matings result in the four Seraphim (Air, Earth, Fire and Water) and hypothetically in a hydra if paired with a Dark dragon (which will most likely never happen).
If two mixed breeds breed (is this still making sense?) there will of course be mixed breeds, but also any other dragon type that can have this type of breed as an offspring. Not all dragons resulting from a mix breeding will be mixed breeds by the way, there will be some dragons resembling the parents as well.

1. Uni
Appearance: Unicorn Dragons are large, brilliantly white dragons with two sets of triangular wings, fur that covers their back from head to tailtip and a single long horn. Their long hair is riddles with little stars that twinkle every so often, giving their manes a dazzlingly sparkling look. They come in all the colours of the rainbow but usually are tinted in pastel colours.
Personality:
Unicorn Dragons are slightly vain. They like to look their best and will spend quite some time grooming. Especially their fur with it's natural luminescence needs a certain amount of care to sparkle. They are perfectionists in whatever they do and love to be praised for their work. They put quite a lot of effort into living up to their ideal standard and thus have little time to do foolish things.

2. Crystal
Appearance: Crystal Dragons are mostly grey-hued, with a tinge of colour in their needles and wings. They have two sets of slender wings that look a lot like ragged straps of cloth that sway gently in the wind. However those wings aren't as fragile as they seem, it is just that they aren't commonly used as wings, rather as something to warm then when they enter their native snow regions. The most outstanding fact on them, most likely are their tattoos that aren't limited to just their face, but also run down their tails in an intricate design.
Personality:
Crystal dragons are very kind, though slightly grumpy dragons that will hide their gentil nature behind a mask of indifference and toughness. At first glance they seem to say 'don't mess with me.' but that is just show to keep the candidates away that won't work to capture these dragon's pure, crystal heart.
Though Crystal dragons usually live in small families, they do get together often for gatherings in which there is always time to meet new faces, get to know new dragons and certainly, to catch up on the latest fairytales since they tend to have a love for fantasy stories.

3. Stardust
Appearance: fairy-like dragons with a dark skin and even darker fluffy hair and wings marred with star-like specs of dust that gave the species their name. These specks, and their bright blue eyes are usually the first a visitor sees when entering the dark rooms in which they live, or when walking out at night when they emerge from their homes. It is quite an amazing sight to see a stardust flying at night, like standing on an ever-changing sky that is by no means hostile or dangerous, just unwordly wonderful.
Personality:
Like stated before, Stardust Dragons are nocturnal dragons who aren't often seen during the day. Though they prefer the quiet hours of night to live, they aren't quiet at all by nature. Stardust dragons love to feast, dance and chat. It is not seldom that, when a troup of them is staying at the temple, complaints arrive about nightly disturbances and noise. Yet, they are usually charming enough to lull the complaints away with a few calm words, an apology and a genuine warming smile.

4. Seraphim
Appearance: Seraphim are elemental snakes resulting from the cross between a spirit and any other type of dragon on Lyria. There are 5 species: Water, Earth, Fire and Air. The one you can see here is the Air Seraphim, though there is a small chance that another air seraphim will turn up because this one looks alot like an electric mix (and nothing more). We don't know this for sure since not many dragons have bred with spirits. You'll just have to mate some and see what'll come out ;)
Personality:
Seraphim are very unpredictable creatures. They don't have a set way to act, most likely because they range over all known types and species. So the personality of your seraphim will depend mostly on who the parents are.
