Fithrarith -- Hatching

As the twin greens and their bonds left the sands, another dragonet rolled out of his shell, this time a large brown. Shaking the sand from his hide, he looked around, but didn't seem to find any of the candidates particularly interesting. He seemed unconcerned about this, however, and turned to his parents instead. My bond is not here. I'll just go to Nidus Otykaii, then. Is that all right? At their agreement, the brown nodded. All right then, my name's Fithrarith. He said, and he trotted away to the kitchens to join his siblings.

Though he knew that two of his siblings were going to Nidus Otykaii as well, Fithrarith had chosen not to spend any more time with them than he did with any other dragon.

Fith was altogether unconcerned with finding a human bond, from what he'd seen they were clumsy, useless and all together stupid. He would wait until he was an adult, and then he would stand for a clutch, and he would bond another dragon.

Fith's growing years were boring and largely uneventful, and Fith prefered not to dwell on them, as that didn't help him in any way so he avoided it, as he avoided all things that were useless.

When Fith had reached adulthood, there had been several dragons on the sands and the Weyr was in need of candidates, so, Fith, ever practical, decided that this would be where he would stay.

Fith is standing at Darkling Dawn.
