A Different Kind of Valentine

I'm a big ol' goof and I know it...but hopefully I'm a cute goof. :-p

I’d give you a rose
All perfectly in bloom
I’d give you some chocolates
Or a beautiful day next to a lagoon

But I know what you’d really want
Is a bright shiny new game
That would be the perfect present
And you’d never see Saint Valentine the same

I’d watch you play
And join in when you asked
Because playing a game with you
Is a joy in which I like to bask

But when the games are through
And the day is winding down
It’d simply be me and you
Oh what a beautiful sound

I’d wrap you in kisses
No, not of the Hershey kind
And show you what you’ve been missing
Every curve a treasure to find

It’s my secret daydream
Before my sleepy eyes drift away
And maybe in dreams you’ll find
I’m wrapped up in you this Valentine’s Day.
