When the sun shines through the window
It's easy to stand still
When I know there's something worth waiting for
This faith is all around me now
Even in this dark hour
The night may bring the doubts
But it can't release this power
Even though I don't quite know when
It's a life that breathes inside me
It has no beginning and no end
Love is so closely tied to this
The fire that runs beneath a kiss
It burns and soothes the only way it knows how
That's how you made me feel then
And it's how I feel now
Finding a safe, solid ground
There's comfort in the promise
Of my Lord's renewed vow
And even when I miss you
He still lifts me up somehow
With everything I am, I believe
In the story that's yet to be
In the song that's all around me
Waiting to be played when it's complete.
