Flowing In

I’d forgotten how to feel this way
To get caught up in something real
You make me think it’s beautiful
And I truly believe it is

It just took a single touch from you
A stroke upon my cheek
I leaned in and it was then I knew
These feelings had gotten away from me

But now I feel again
Feel something I once knew then
It’s a spark within my heart
That grows still

I was going through the motions...and I didn’t know
Doing important things
But underneath, was the most important thing

You’ve awoken the love I knew
Hadn’t really disappeared
But now that I’m sitting here, waiting
I’m not quite sure what to do
All I know is you

But now I feel again
Feel something I once knew then
It’s a spark within my heart
That grows still
With each look, each smile
I trust again.
