It is such an amazing book!! I had to stop reading after two chapters though 'cause I was crying and I could no longer see the words on the pages. Hehe. But so I pulled out that little tape you included...Wow!! They're amazing!! I LOVE those songs!! I had to get up and dance. I was dancing in front of the window too. LOL...the neighbors were prolly thinking, "Oh my...what has happened to her?!" LOL. Anyhow, I was dancing and singing along (even though I don't know the words. LOL. I pretended like I did. :)). The Sequoias - they didn't all burn down, Keri. LOL. But it took forever in a day before you actually get to them. You enter the park, but you still have to drive forever before you can see the freakin' trees. On our way, a bee entered our car. I thought I was gonna die!! I covered my ears (lol...Keri's influence), put my head down and screamed. *laughs* And my mom was trying to drive. Finally she was able to pull over and I opened that door and jumped soo fast outta that car! People were prolly driving by thinking, "My goodness...what is her problem?? Ugh. Tourists." LOL.

I mean that I know acquaintances and I know friends. Luckily, I have acquired friends over the past few years that can discern this difference and have it in their own life: work friends, home friends, classmate (old or current) friends, family friends, customer friends, online friends. All these different places
source knowing people and all these people have different rankings on the friend scale. That's something I've always totally loved about you - you GET this, you KNOW this, because you DO this. You have school friends, church friends, net friends, and some are more than one category and some aren't. And I hear (or read...emails or posts *G*) you talk about all different kinds of them and all different events all the jossin' time. I have had a few people in life that I just know I can't let this person ever ever drift out of my life because it's such a mutual rockingness and I know that we have so much to talk about and learn from each other but that we can evolve too. RIGHT ON! Vacuuming is the ultimate fun chore- well, along with dishes, but I've broken mugs before because of it! (You kinda get carried away and start tossin' the dishes in the air, no joke-- I broke a plate. Smooooth.)
I can tell when you need responses, and when you need just a listening ear, esp on the phone or on IM. That's why sometimes I'll just put "nod" or "listening" for a while, to let you completely get out the story or talk yourself through something without me jumping in cause I don't want to change your perspective or opinion until you're done for a second. It's like a poem or just free writing - you gotta keep going, get it all out, get it all written down, before you can read it again and realize stuff.
