Forgive me if I stare
I could never get used to those eyes

To reach out and not apologize

Out just where this could transcend
Or do you let your eyes wander astray

That these feelings have gotten away.

It's just so easy to do

Trying to find more time to be with you

Do you understand why I'm still hanging around
Even though the time has gone so slow
Would you believe me if I said it's simply you
That your presence makes my heart aglow
Can you trust that I see reason to stay
How our story has so much more to show
And that my feelings haven't lost their way.

Forgive me if I love
It's simply never stopped
And yet, it's still waiting to start
Forgive me if I love
It's a way of being now
For you have become the constant current through my heart.
