Remember when
We thought the day just couldn’t end
When you were more than a lover or a friend?
I wish we could just go back to that time
When your lips were pressed against mine.

Remember when
You took me in your arms
And I succumbed to all of your charms?
Can you take me back to those days of gold
When you were mine to have and to hold?

I want to bring these memories to life again
(Is that too much to ask?)
Lay down your heart
And I’ll rest mine upon yours
In sleep, we shall soar
Up high...
Into the sky.

Remember me
When you’re close to sleep
And in our dreams I will keep
A close eye on that smile I know so well
And your dancing eyes into which I fell.

Remember me
In the littlest things you see
A singing bird or a breeze through the trees
For can’t you see that I’m everywhere that you are?
You take me every place in your heart.

Just come with me on this journey again
Keep falling in love till the end
Lay down your heart
And I’ll rest mine upon yours
In sleep, we shall soar
Up high...
Into the sky.
