Thirsty

Aching for a touch
Just a slide of fingertips
Prints left upon my cheek

Longing for a taste
Nothing can replace
Lips crashing, how it makes me weak

Yearning so deep
The bottom I cannot reach
Craving so wide
Unable to cross to the other side
It's love that draws me here
Panting for relief so clear
You're my water when the river runs dry
Oh Beauty, I'm thirsty

Hungering for your voice
Never ceases to calm me
Just one dip below, I hear you call me

Suffering for your arms
Oh how I miss them the most
Safe and sound because it's us I've found

Yearning so deep
The bottom I cannot reach
Craving so wide
Unable to cross to the other side
It's love that draws me here
It's hope that makes things clear
You're my water when the fountain's overflowing
I want to drown in you, swim in love so true
You're the one and always will be
That's why I'll never stop being thirsty.
